You failed to show how the device can allow your headset to pair/sync/play through the earphones wireless in bluetooth. Some of us do not have a TV with bluetooth capability choices (ie Samsung 2016 or less), or a 3.5mm audio jack. Some of us don't have phono plugs at the TV's rear. All of this incapability means we have to have a device which can hear the TV's audio (ie. SFDIF/Optical and TV speaker only choices in Setup). Hence, no silent listening.
If your TV has no RCA Audio out or headphone Jack - or indeed is not Bluetooth, you can still make it Bluetooth. Get a Digital to Analog converter (Get one with a volume control or even better a remote) and connect the Optical connection to the Optical Out on your TV and connect the other end to the Digital to Analog converter. On the input side of the converter connect a Bluetooth transmitter to the Aux or Headphone in Jack. Pair the Bluetooth transmitter with your headphones or speakers and you're good to go.

@@celticlofts Still if you're going to make a video and say it's going to play on the TV, You really should have showed it. Otherwise maybe it would have worked and maybe it wouldn't but for now it's not working for me.

I have several speakers connected to my TV through an amplifier, so I'm trying to connect the Trond to the amplifier so I can listen with my Google Pixel Buds. I was able to pair the two but I cannot receive the sound from my amplifier. I'm not sure which way to plug the Trond into the amplifier, and what setting to use on my amplifier's remote. I've tried the red and white cables as well as the other method provided. I've also set the amplifier to its current setting as well as changing it to Aux, but nothing.
I didnt happen to catch where you purchased this from, I thought best buy perhaps but after 3 hours in the store i was still empty handed so i attempted to look up on website and couldnt find it anywhere 😅 reviews are cool and all but nextime maybe let us know where you purchased the item so we may also enjoy a cool purchase. Best Buy has dropped in value so much when it comes to in store shopping you used to get ANYTHING there on hand when ever you would need something. Nowadays it seems like they just never have good tech. Their shopping experience used to be the shit.

@Update That was very helpful, thank you very much! I wasn't yet able to pair my headset with the transmitter. Unfortunately, I can't use my receiver/transmitter in the same socket on the amplifier. There is only "aux in" on it. So I'll have to plug it in the headphones outlet for listening and the "aux in" for transmitting music on my laptop that I want to hear over the speakers. Or is there some magical solution for that, too?

can you buy 2 for these and pair the one to the other ? the problem i see is how do you know what your pairing too because no phone screen would be involved ..
I do have a question... So the setting is: I have a surround system without bluetooth, my TV has only digital audio input (SPDIF) and also no bluetooth.
Can I manage the setup like: playing music or a video on my phone through bluetooth to the transmitter so everything plays on the surround system or visa versa? I'm a bit confused on what I can do.

Do you know of any options that's allows for transmitting and recieving at the same time without having to swap between them. Like for a headset to talk and hear.
These might exist but probably really costly but I can tell you that the quality is for sure not gonna be great if it’s forcibly trying to receive and give at the same time.
@@JPatoStar I work at a place that uses an a jack system for communication. Headsets and cords with 1/4 inch Jack's. I'm trying to find somthing that will plug into the 1/4 inch jack and bluetooth or somthing to a wireless head set, to eliminate the cord. I can't figure out how to do it lol.
Can you use this in an audio interface? I'm using m-track solo, i'm thinking if i just plug it in directly to the headphone output (3.5mm) from the audio interface and connect my headphones to it. Will it work? Also do similar brands or other transmitter and receiver works the same?
As an amateur producer and semi pro musician, you probably CAN do this, but if you’re looking to connect to an audio interface then I’m assuming you’re trying to use this to use your Bluetooth buds as your monitor headphones? If so there will more than likely be lag…even if it’s just a little, and your mix will come out…well, not how you want lol.
My Bluetooth Transmitter is plugged into the AC outlet and the audio cable is connected to my home stereo receiver's headphone jack. Do I have to always leave the Bluetooth Transmitter plugged into the AC outlet?

this is a very good review, but when i looking to buy a bluetooth device i need 2 questions answered . is the audio quality good. does it sound good, and 2. does it have latency when watching tv or movies. does it look like an old school karate movie. you see something happens on the screen then you here it 2 seconds later. with music you dont have to worry about latency. thank you nice video.
The device works better from within 10-15 feet before you start to see the lag of audio but I use it for my TV without any latency lost. The device lasts about 2 -3 hours on one charge but I attach a USB to the tv to charge all the time and hasn't been an issue.

I bought this and the delay was really bad while watching a DVD movie on my TV. I was not expecting that. It was as you say, like a karate movie. I had never had that problem using these same headphones connectd to Apple TV via Bluetooth. I'm curious, @Levi what was that upgraded model you bought?

I have a similar device with a different badge, the thing was driving me mad, I could not "see" it with either a Windows laptop or an iPhone 15. It would seem to go into pairing mode but then the LEDs would change status. The thing showed no sign of connecting and forgetting the device identity meant my devices tried to pair with devices in my neighbour's house. Randomly I checked to find an iPad left upstairs was still connected...
With that excessive amount of accumulated dust, hopefully you don't inhale.

On the rear of your hifi look for RCA inputs connect them both, left and right. Then select aux on your hifi. Pair the Trond to your phone.
Now whatever audio is playing on your phone will output on your hifi.
Edit: the headphone socket is output only you can't connect to that. You need to connect to an input. On the back of your hifi the input will either be RCA or 3.5mm jack.
Can i connect this to a cd player with the red and white holes, then transmit my music from the cd player to a bluetooth portable speaker?
The rc connections, at the back of my cd player it has the red and white holes, so could i plug this into that and then transmit to a bluetooth portable speaker?
That is what the RCA-to-mini jack cable is for. However, I have my CD player connected to my amplifier and the bluetooth transmitter stuck into the headphones-opening of the amplifier. Not sure if the red-and-white RCA cable works directly from the CD player. If your CD player has a direct headphones-opening, I think it should work.

As long as you have a 3.5 jack and audio going out not a mic connection. Most recorders don't have a line out, check to see if you can connect the speakers to the recorder and see if you can playback audio on the speakers first and if this is successful then you should be able to use this device for your needs.

Whats the point? Needs to be able to be switched on/off remotely . Stuff fluffing around the back of the tv all the time as it kills the TV Speakers sound when its plugged in
I have one of these and it’s good quality but sometimes a pain. Aslong as it’s connected to power and the speakers is always turned on aswell as the adapter then there shouldn’t be a problem. But if you turn off the speaker at any point the adapter will search everywhere for a connection so just keep in mind whatever you watch on tv might play elsewhere, recently I’ve had it connect to my neighbours cameras and started some fuzz.

I have bought one of these and cannot connect onto it. I have a red and blue light flashing on the front of the unit and have tried two phones now to connect onto it and it won’t see any of the phones and the phones cannot pick up the Bluetooth. How can I reset the unit and start a fresh?🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

You can do both, plug a wired headphone into the device and use Bluetooth to connect the device.

@@persephonee5 I went on to read some gibberish about plugging a 3.5mm jack into my (Wireless Bluetooth) headphones... so, I refused to plug in the cable and followed all of the other instructions and they still won't work ...I ended up ordering Bluetooth adaptors with built-in displays and RCA connectors that plug Direct to the mixer = the display is used to select which headphone, speaker etc etc....

It arrived promptly and I've been using for about 3weeks. Very pleased with it. Sound quality is reasonable and easy to pair with either my Android phone or Linux laptop.
