I'm excited for this fight, I like both fighters a lot, personally I had GGG winning both fights, I wasn't unhappy over the draw since I wanted both fighters to win, but Gennady won those fights IMO.. It will be interested to see how they do at 168, with GGG being 40 years old now. Canelo needs this win now more than ever.

GGG won both fights so far and personally i think CA is a coward for waiting so long for a 3rd fight, hoping that GGG will be too old and slow, that is a straight BITCH move!! Fair and square GGG is the better fighter hands down
What I hate more than the cowardice is the fact that he acts like he won when everyone know he definitely lost the first one. That the same reason why I disliked T. Bradley at first. He knew he lost to PacMan and yet he acted like he had won that first fight.

We needed to see 3G vs Bivol first. Just to compare but lets not forget who moved up to fight here. Cnelo has been taking on the challenge moving up in weight while 3G has been marinating in the same weight class.

GGG is the better fighter but Canelo is younger and has the judges on his side. I’m a legal Brazilian immigrant sense 1987. All my life in the US I had Mexican friends and my friends parents always spent a lot of money with payperview and Mexican fights in general. Canelo is a cash cow 🐮 in the US

Paulie Malignaggi nailed it and it is something that I have been saying for some time now, the first two bouts were very very telling in terms of the judging. Both fights were extremely close and could have gone either way, and what were the results first fight it was a DRAW when Golovkin clearly won 7-5. And the second fight was even closer and that should have been a draw in my opinion, but they gave a GIFT DECSION to Canelo. So, in fact if the third and possibly final fight goes the distance, they will give it to Canelo. Like Malignaggi said, they cannot give it to Golovkin unless he KOs Canelo which he probably won't because Canelo is a very skillful boxer. And there is no way Canelo losses back-to-back fights because his STOCK WILL DROP. So, even if GGG wins they will give it to Canelo either way. Paulie and Diaz are the only two SPEAKING FACTS.

GGG won the first fight decisively and I believe he jabbed his way to victory in the second fight and after the beating Bivol gave Canelo I don’t think his mind will be right GGG will follow Bivols fight plan to victory.
Agree, the first fight he kept on the front foot and dominated him, the second fight he stayed on the back foot and jabbed and boxed smart, but I think ggg is to old now unfortunately.
Ggg won’t follow anybodys game plan. He’s a head hunter and that’s what he’ll do again.Simply relies on the knockout which he hasn’t been able to do in the 24 rounds he’s gone with Canelo.

Surprisingly I think GGG by mid round KO……..interesting fight if there’s any takeaways from the Bivol loss for GGG to use I think it’s the extreme problems Canelo had with position and straight punches, perhaps there will be less dramatic looping rights from GGG and more straights, can’t wait for it …..

Triple G won definitely first fight using his jab, second fight I personally had a draw but could have gone either way tbh so I don’t mind if ggg had won or another draw at the end of the day they delivered 2 rlly good fights and can’t wait for the 3rd. I have Canelo winning either by UD, or either with a body shot since ggg has been looking vulnerable there but hoping for a great fight at the end of the day.

Joy Jones' analysis is stupid. The punch stats and the test of the eye had most people seeing GGG as the victor in the second fight. He boxed, its a boxing match. Ali said "we gonna dance" in the rumble in the jungle and he did not dance all night. It means nothing what someone says. Canelo said he wanted to knock him out and he didn't....so GGG should have it on that basis alone then? Good god man.

I thought ggg won the first fight and Canelo won the second fight. Ggg is now 40 years old and he’s been inactive since his last fight against Canelo, back in 2018. His only opponent has been Murata who he wasn’t that impressive against…Canelo is coming off a loss and IMO he’s been overactive, in the last 3 years he’s had 7 fights, that’s unheard of.
