I won a game without a kill, because the final circle was on top of a cliff, and the last player was stuck in the bottom
You don't need to be the best of 100 players.. you just need to kill the last guy. I won a match with 1 kill.... As a total beginner... I just played the game as I'd have in real life... avoid contact with anyone.. .just trying to get the basic gear and stealth my way through the circle and stay alive... Got the last kill after watching the 2 remaining people kill each other.. then I killed the last guy and won with only 1 kill. I'm far from the best... had a bunch of luck and was very careful.

Personally, I watch every one of my replays, and I've been noticing that people are hitting me when on the screen it looks like they're aiming a few feet to my right/left. I'm assuming it's just weirdness with the recording, because these weren't exactly people that were getting tons of kills.

I refunded this game after 20 minutes, cant change keybindings or settings, runs like a potato on a high end rig, you can pretty much turn off trees and bushes. Games trash

Well I can change my key bindings and run the game. I'm pretty sure you can't turn off trees and yah, the fact that foliage can be changed is kind of lame. And if you hate the game why are you watching a guide?
@bippzone - don't buy MMO when they are still in their early stages. There are always huge optimization issues.. I did find that while the optimalization wasn't great, there are fairly few bugs and glitches compared to some other games I played.@gamesupport - I find it especially sad that the people who play King of the Kill don't even know that PU actually made their game too

Started playing this a little after it went live on steam, and I have to say it's one of the best shooters I've played. Super addicting, very exhilarating, and has much to offer for the future of the "hunger games style" of games. Great video!

Wow it seems like so long ago when I saw this video, I was a hopeless wreck of a player back then. However the tips from this video and hours of playing allowed me to get my first few chicken dinners and improve all round. Thanks so much for the advice dude!

Remember that you pick stuff up quicker if you open your inventory and drag it (There is no animation). It does not matter on drops/bodies.
Here's a tip from an arma3 br player, once you find loot and throughout the game pick up the ammo from an area to make it harder for someone who comes along after you to get equipped or need ammo for a gun they have. If I don't need the ammo I stockpiled I just drop it in random spots around the map making it harder for players to find.
I just started playing this game only a few weeks ago and I find this pretty helpful.
Also, a good tip is hold down shift to steady out your breath and makes you zoom a little bit more.

The FOV in first person is at the moment total unplayable! I really hope they fix that before releasing the Hardcore mode (i know they said they will introduce a FOV slider but they didn't specificy if this slider is for the FOV in 3. person or for 1. person).
Really does give an unfair advantage when using the third person camera, as you can peek around corners without having to expose your character.
Yeah, I agree it needs so much work. All my friends are talking about how excited they are for it and I keep saying maybe they should make it playable before centering a whole game mode around it.

People can't play for shit, they are too dumb to learn, the hamsters that run their potato PCs are too old, and the devs don't have their shit together enough to just take away the option.
To be fair, my computer has one of the best video cards on the market right now and barely runs 60 fps on PUBG with all settings on "Very Low". The game is pretty poorly optimized, which will most likely be fixed (game IS in early access). I can play god damn Overwatch/League/ H1Z1(ew)/The Division(game's dead D=)/etc. all on highest settings with 60+ fps (fucking 300-400 fps on league but it's not demanding at all), and yet PUBG gives me barely 55-60 fps on very low. Turning the settings down is a necessity as of right now. Once optimization is fixed, removing the option to change foliage will be viable (and hopefully added). But until the game is optimized, foliage (grass and shit that u think ur hiding in when in reality, on someone with low graphics screen, you're fucking laying in the middle of a field screaming kill me) needs to stay a thing.
Can I ask if you are streaming or recording? I've read quite a number of comments about settings with good GPU and I have few problems with games in general. The only one that hogs by system is Ark'. I have a 4gb 970 and an i5 chip 16gigs Ram and my settings are all on Ultra apart from foliage. I've been contemplating upgrading my GPU but I'm not so sure.
I have a 970 as well (i7, 16Gigs), game seems to run fine for me too. I'd like a newer GPU as well but why not wait? the prices will go down a lot if you use the 970 another 6-12 months. Next gen cards may be out then as well.

I played a lot of Battlefield (all of them) and this game is so much fun. It's been a long time I had heart pumping action like this, it's totally worth the 30 bucks (I bought it for 30 Euro = 35 bucks and it's still worth it)

You don't have to be better than all 100 people. You're not going to fight with all 100 of them. Most of them will be killing each other without any relevance to your skill level.

There's only 99 people to kill
Game is also about surviving so you have to be better at that compared to 99 other people (if you're playing SOLO)
UMP9 is my favorite firearm in PUBG. The ammunition is very common and so is the gun itself.

I will say what annoys me about PUBG (after watching streamers) that people with very high-end, expensive PC's don't have many problems with FPS or performance. My rig is about $1300 (albeit 1.5 years old) but has seriously issues running the game; either through frame drops or overall low performance. The game definitely rewards people right now who are able to afford expensive PC's.
I have a 4770k so older cpu than you and a gtx1060 6GB, my game runs fine even with OBS on.
it's an early release. I don't think they made it a secret that the servers and client need a lot of work to make it run smoother, but it is already better than at its release and will continue to get better.
I have a 1400 euro PC also 1.5 years old and I run most of the time 55+fps
i have a $1300 pc (2 years old) it runs at 55-60 fps and ive only had it crash once in 36 hours of playing so far

One thing i do love about the ps4 version is that everyone has foliage on full, so you actually can be sneaky in the bushes.

SECOND game, i came forth by staying in my starting area the entire game, in fact basically the same house the entire game. i only killed 2 people. i spend most of my time trying to work out how to zoom in so i could use my red dot sight. I like the middle of the map now

A great beginner tip for out running the circle is just above the mini map it shows time till the circle starts moving in blue you are the running white guy icon and the safe area is the white dot on the right. It will also have a dotted line in the direction you need to go on the mini map. So out run that blue line!

hey, PUBG is more tactical and a little slower. H1Z1 is more arcade like and faster paced. In PUBG you will find more campers but it's not a bad thing.The game is more realistic. Also aiming down the sights is very useful in this game.

It is especially boring since there are little ways how to sneak up on campers due to even prone/crouched walk being as loud as elephant´s footsteps.

Note with the circle that it get worse each time. The first two you can survive outside for a while, the third will hurt and from then on it will chunk your health big time.
Set foliage to low.... This is why I despise public games... Private servers with players that can be trusted to play fair is the only way I will spend money on this game.

Great tutorial, without it I surely wouldn't have been lucky enough to win my first game.
Though you should have included some tips on how to actually even aim down sights. I had to tab out and google that mid-game.
Im sure this game is good and has its moments. but so has literally every survival/battle royal game we've seen on steam the past 3 years. So many are shit, while the good ones like h1z1, dayz, rust, ark, etc may still be fun but are still heavily broken, clunky and in early access. Every time a new game like this comes out its always "Oh this one is different. This is actually fun. They have plans to be out of alpha in a month or two..." Every time this happens. And every time, the game never gets finished, just gets updates that fix certain problems, but ignore many others. But hey, that's steam early access for ya.
Let's see. The devs said it needs at least 12 month from now on to finish the game. That at least sounds realistic. The most important part is, that the game at the current state is totally play able (with a good pc) and already worth the 30 bucks (at least my playtime).
Look I agree. Battle Royal is a formula that works, but we've seen it all before. Is it fun? Yea probably. But I just can't stand the steam early access business practice of releasing games. Battlegrounds is playable but there is a lot left to be desired, that likely will never get added.
Honestly I like the game as it is tbh, there's not very much I would added to it besides maybe new weapons and items a few months down the line. Besides obvious little things like first person only servers, fixing laggy servers etc.
