Hey Pravus I've went through almost all of your HOI4 playlist. I've never been this invested before in someone's gameplay. You not only introduced me to HOI4, but to Paradox's games in general. You're a very knowledgeable speaker to what you are doing and why. Keep up the awesome content and can't wait until you "This is going to be Lit" is finished".
Pravus, in order to form the HRE, you need to complete the focus "An Alliance with the Shade". You can't go down "Focus on the True Enemy".
EDIT: Also, the Hindenburg must survive.

After the failed assasination of the british S.A.S. troops in Egypt, Rommel gave the fallen british soldiers a proper military burial. He was an absolute gentleman and brilliant leader. "War without Hate" is one of his famous quotes. I've read his book, Infantry Attacks. It's about his missions in WW I. Recomend to every history-military lover to read it. Brilliant book.

Instead of battleships Ive either just used naval bombers and a tiny ramshakle navy or a shedload of heavy cruisers
Oh man, you are so *much* better in your delivery then a number of other HOI4 CZcamsrs! If I ever do pick up HOI4 and want to try this out, I think this will be the series that I will refer back to for.
On that glitch thing about having soldiers in the water, you could interpret it like so: they-the army-are on naval shipscontrolled by you. The lower ranks might not care about who they follow, and when their commanders tell them to try and take over the navy's ships-that they don't know how to man-they rebel and join the guys that don't result in drowning. Kinda a stretch, but an explanation nonetheless.
"Battleships win every time" eh Carriers with lots of naval bombers eat battleships for breakfast usually before the Battleships even get in range most of them time
You speak so clearly, it makes it very easy to understand you when I turn it to 2x speed, because I need to hurry but still want to finish watching.

Seeing virtual armies and frontlines crossing ... right through your hometown (living north west of Munich / Bavaria).
But the concept of the game seems interesting. And as always - it's just a joy watching you playing this games.

23:31 the rebuild nation is very good focus to go because there is 20% reduction on consumer goods so you would have 10 more civ factory so you can build faster

There is a way to increase your SF cap, under the research tree at the bottom, if you follow the bottom path you can recruit more of them, and lose out on their ability to climate adjust

behind the US only because the US got out of WW1 undamaged. At the time of the war, the mobilized german army top both the western allies US,UK, France and even the soviet when Barbarossa broke out.
Sure, but in 1942 greater Germany and Italy had a higher combined population than the USSR... and that's not even counting other nations in the war like Finland, Romania, Hungary etc. And yet German High Command failed miserably in capturing any strategic objectives like Leningrad, Moscow, or Stalingrad.
Talk about having a manpower and industry advantage and still losing to superior operational execution by the Stavka :) But please, cry more about how the Third Reich was so great.

the special forces limit depends on the size of your army. the higher number of fielded regular army you have, the more special forces you can have
Lol, I see where you're going. There's another army feature like that. Right before a civil war ignites, delete all armies in the field. Once you or the game starts the civil war, then deploy the troops. You should get all troops that were being trained. So basically, you get all the troops and the enemy gets none.

Id like to see you redo this one with man the guns because it's very very different now, and the war exploit w aass fixed but it's easy if you conquer Poland before you start the civil war then you get more land and double the troops if you trained up a bunch for some early conquest

If you delete all of your army, it's 100% that they refuse to allow Wilhelm II to return from exile. Presumably, there's a formula for working out the percentage chance, but I can't be bothered to fish through the event files to find it.

What can you do? You can send your troops arround Danemark instead of from East Prussia. That way they don't have to sail to hostile waters.

Imprisoning them is the best option, you can get the Advisers and generals back once you have a higher conscription law.

You don’t lose any units, some simply re-locate onto German land
Pravus, delete your army when asking for Wilhelm, it increases the chance of the Netherlands refusing.
I think training more troops affects the probability of Dutch refusal due to your relative power.
Also this means no more paratroopers conquering capitals.
I wish there was a way to make Rommel a ruler, how awesome would that be.

You can also just delete your army to get the netherlands to say no, but first I recommend train some units but not deploy them.
Send Volunteers to Spain and Japan or China to raise world tension also delete your army so the Netherlands think that there stronger and dont give back Wilhelm II
Im really late for this comment, but he cant send volunteers with the neutral ideology until world tension is at 40% i think

Yea
Special Forces cap is supposed to be 5% of your regular batallions. 5 Special Forecs batallions for every 100 regular (I assume this includes Infantry, Motorized, Mech, Armored, Artillery + derivatives) batallions.
Train more regular batallions, unlock more Special Forces batallions.
Note the percentages are calculated at batallion level, not division level, so you can't just train more 10 width (or 2 width, for that matter) regular divisions to artificially push up the cap.
So, a 20 width 7inf + 2 arty division is 9 batallions. You need 11.1 of those divisions to unlock 5 more Special Forces batallions.
Paradox should change this so that you need "Special Equipment" instead of having a unit limit.
