Don’t expect to see the legit choreography in their relay dances. They start off serious but it ends chaotic. They are a fun one to watch for their relays though. Their legit dance practices are one of the groups I like to watch. No, I don’t have a bias in Astro. They make it hard to pick one

They are never serious in their relay dances, Knock is the most serious it would get. I f you want more serious watch their dance practices. They are amazing dancers and very in sync. One of the most synchronized boy groups.

All Night actually has a lot of floor work in the choreo so even though it looked really good in the relay it's 100x better in the dance practice!!! You NEED to watch it!!
Also a lot of formation changes which don't work in relay dances.
Astro is technically a Gen3 but many of them spent almost 7,8 years training so they have a LOT of then gen2 vibe which makes them very very unique in temrs of their sounds and choreography. Extemely skilled but at the same time they have this very subtle charm , and they are from a very small and broke company so they have slip through the radar and stayed rather low profile for a very long time for intl kpop fans but they are slowly breaking through. Pls check them out for their comeback on April 5th!!
These relays do not do astro justice I highly suggest checking out the dance practices, especially baby. Its wild they were doing that shit as practically rookies they're absolutely weightless it's such a treat to watch them

Okay okay, so get your pen and paper ready this lesson is about to begin. Astro are a 6 membered group being apart of the 2nd generation kpop with their debut in 2016. With the youngest member only being 17(korean age), they started with a refreshing and cute concept that grew with them. Slowly but surely they proved themselves as clean and persise performers. The member that I noticed you pointing out most is, the incredibly talented rapper/choreographer of Astro (Rocky). With the two gold wins from idol Olympics, they are titled as the aerobic team of kpop. I can suggest many content I know you'll love, but a good place to start are their dance practices. A small request one the side is Rocky's performance of The Mask on the show Hit the stage! 🙏

If you're a fan of ultimate synchronicity, watch Astros dance practices! Theyre known for how in synch they always are with each other and its beautiful to watch.. They have stated before they all memorize each choreo in only 2-3 hours. "Again" is my favorite choreo I've seen from them. I would beg you on my hands and knees wearing metal armor on a mountaintop in a raging thunderstorm to get you to react to it lol

I think it's actually refreshing to see someone reacting first on ASTRO's relay dances before their choreography videos because you can see their personality here (fun and VERY chaotic people). Like the other comments, I'd also like to suggest reacting to their dance practices since their choreography and synchronization is INSANE. I would recommend Hide and Seek (2016 - their debut song), Baby (2017), Again (2017), and Blue Flame (2019). Also, ASTRO is coming back with their 2nd full album "All Yours", promoting its title track "ONE" on April 5. All ASTRO choreographies usually have a lot of traveling, spins, and synchronization. Everything they CAN'T showcase in a relay.

Hi, first of all, thank you for reacting to Astro! They are really talented! Rocky is recognized as one of the best dancers in Kpop by many choreographers and dancers in Korea. Jinjin entered performing arts high school with the top score and Bin started training dance very early too. They are really fun and talented! The one you kept clocking is Rocky. Trained formally (jazz, ballet, contemp, etc). ... Astro are as synchronized as Seventeen but all strong dancers and underrated in general bc there are long stretches of time in between comebacks.
Their choreography pops off in their actual dance practices, would highly recommend, especially some of their older songs like Breathless and Should've Held On

I honestly love all of them but our loveable leader JinJin is so special to me. Rocky, Moonbin, and JinJin are extremely strong dancers. Eunwoo actually got scolded a lot during predebut about his dancing so his growth is tremendous. They are lovable, goofy, adhd energy is so addictive. ASTRO is definitely super fun! Great news is that they just made a comeback with their new song 'ONE'. It's a totally different vibe from their past title tracks, but still enjoyable nonetheless. As a Aroha, my opinion is that these relay dances were more fun than serious for them so I really recommend for you to watch their dance practices. For Knock, you can see the taller members couldn't dance as hard because of the lack of space and for All Night, most of their choreo is on the floor which they couldn't show off here. Baby is THE dance you have to see all 6 of them do. Their synchronization even extends to the height of their jumps which is a feat considering their varied heights.
Difficult to choose a bias...i've got 6....😁 but the ones stand out are: Moonbin, Rocky, Eun woo, MJ, Jinjin and Sanha 🤗❤

I suggest you watch ASTRO dance practices because these guys despite what they seem, dance incredibly well when they want to (they're definitely not being serious here😂😂). Their dance style is pretty unique. They're known for their refreshing rhythms with choreography that in the opinion of many are difficult to execute with the level of synchronization that they manage to achieve. And even the two members who "don't dance so well" go unnoticed when they dance in a group as they manage to balance themselves in such a way that they become one. I actually believe they're one of the most synchronized groups that I know tbh, on a level that is scary, and I follow several groups. It's very satisfying to see their performances. Also I would dare to say that Rocky (at 14:40) is in the top 3 of the best dancers of the last generation, his dance is so exact and artistic. And I'm not the only one who believes it, he even competed with main dancers from many well-known groups in 1theK's "Dance War" competition and the dance specialist juries chose him as the best (he basically won second place because the first place was chosen mostly by the fans)

Thank you thank you!! I'm so very happy that you watched these, and hope my suggestion helped! Worth knowing about relays for this group is that they have fun with them. They're VERY not serious about doing the hard-hitting choreography of their dance practices or performances. The one in front often isn't even the one featured in the song at that part, so unless you know their voices/parts, you wouldn't know that they were just doing the choreo or singing along to a part that isn't theirs. Arohas (their fan group) know what chaotic energy these men possess, and the relays become another way to connect with and entertain fans, rather than a true testament to their dancing or performing skills. The number of outtakes is indicative of them "playing" and these relays are unrehearsed/planned for them, as seen by the random piggy back rides! [Case in point, Sanha coming back to make up a 3-person visual at your 7:09. He thought Moonbin would step into the third slot, but he doesn't, so Sanha laughingly comes back.]
Please check out the dance practice (and/or MV) for Baby, which has complex choreography that is quick, inventive, and synchronized. Their All Night is worth watching the dance practice for, as much of the work is floor work and doesn't get seen in the Relay (and as well in the MV). And while there's no MV for it, the dance practices for Again and Moonwalk show what they're very capable of doing. You noticed Rocky's moves, and there's every reason to, since he's a truly phenomenal dancer, and he came in second in Dance War (how he didn't win, I don't know). He also has his YYY choreography pieces, where he shows us what he is capable of.
A second relay video for this group would be much appreciated, and they have a comeback on the 5th, just a couple days away!! Thank you again for your reactions! I hope you come to love their talents as much as their fans do.

Check out the dance practices for Astro, as they're great dancers. I particularly recommend the dance practice for "Baby", which is still the sharpest dance practice I've ever seen. I'm a big fan of both the song and the dance for "Crazy Sexy Cool" as well.
If you're reacting to relay dances, you really should check out the Queens of Relay, too: Astro's sister group, Weki Meki. They're one of the first groups to employ 3+ member formations during relay dances. I recommend watching their relay dances for anything from "Picky Picky" on, including "Dazzle Dazzle" (probably still their most intricate) and their latest, "Cool". The dance practice for "Cool" is also worth a watch, exceptionally synchronized and one of their most tiring dances.
