Get to mission 2, acquire the rune that slows down time and makes you invincible before you die, whenever your about to die and as soon as that rune activates, pause the game, open task manager, close the game. When you come back youll be at the checkpoint beforehand. Most importantly however, DO NOT DIE :) Boom gold skin now everyone in battlemode fears you even tho ur ass lmao

Agreed. I can't play the Battlemode much more than a couple matches a day. It's buggy, lagging for no obvious reason (I have 100/100 optical fiber connection) and I'm just getting too old for this shit, I gues đ§đ» I suck at it, and I just should git gud, I suppose đ€đ»đ

Default- a perfect modernization of the classic doom armor. A great starting skin.
Astro- surprisingly good. I donât think Iâd use it, though.
Crimson- bleh. I donât think of Clay color when thinking âcrimson.â
Midnight- very mediocre. Makes the slayer look less special. Why not give him a tuxedo black armor?
Phobos- amazing armor. Looks legendary. A great reward.
Classic- câmon. Itâs amazing. It just looks badass. The other colors look pretty cool, too, and are a cool reward for being a big enough fan. Itâs a fantastic armor.
Demonic slayer- cool armor, but not really worth the $80 to buy it.
Ember- looks awesome. Makes DoomGuy look like a spirit of vengeance, or the grim reaper himself punishing all of demonkind.
Praetor- awesome costume, of course. It looks smaller than the 2016 version. The breastplate looks kinda tiny in this game, and the visor is practically completely transparent.
STA- itâs alright. Looks like heâd use an axe rather than guns. You donât expect someone using that armor to use laser guns.
Zombie- looks awesome. A cool reward for joining slayers club. Makes DoomGuy look like a rebellious demon out to purge his own kind.
Doomicorn- I mean, itâs actually not that bad, somehow. But thereâs no reason to get it or itâs variations other than if youâre a troll.
25 anniversary- itâs mediocre. Kinda bland. Kinda lame.
Gold- it shows willpower and skill, but it depends on the person if you ask if itâs worth it. To me, I expect a party hosted by ID themselves if youâre able to beat Ultra-Nightmare this early, rather than a less badass version of the Phobos armor.
Camo: itâs so average, but itâs still cool. I like camouflage costumes, but I donât think it really fits this game.

DarkSpartan FTW The 2016 suit is definitely one of my favourites. Just wish theyâd bulk him up a bit and darken his visor, as you pointed out it looks transparent, which is weird as in the previous game it was actually very dark.
Vecronic Thatâs what I was thinking. Based on the suit, this means that DoomGuy slimmed down since the 2016 game.

i think my only issue with the new models is that you can see the slayers face. idk, after 300 hours in Doom 2016 seeing his face so clearly in cutscenes is weird
Anyone else having an issue with skins in Battlemode? Some of them work fine but alot of the recolours don't show.

Skins that are variantes of the default (midnight and Astro) do not show in the pre match menu but do when the game starts
I feel bad for not getting the deluxe edition of the game, because I didnât know you would get that armor.

I got into Doom late and am now upset that I can't buy the skin. I didn't think I needed the deluxe edition to be able to play with Doom Guy's default skin with added flames to it.

Awesome, it's hard to keep track in the customisation menu since it doesn't show why you've unlocked certain things, only "milestone completion". Too vague, and sometimes I have to then double check the milestones list to see what I've gotten and not.

Ember armor's the coolest. In the intro the flames turn on the moment he puts on the helmet and looks freaking awesome.

@@livirus3826 Not an expert in consoles but I'm pretty sure that the best way to switch weapons is by using the weapon wheel. Also motivation is key, don't give up because one time you will win. Even PC players struggle on this game so you musn't feel guilty or think you suck at it just because you can't beat it. Everyone can do it and everyone can get better. Other than that, yes indeed, the best way to practice is just simple nightmare. When you complete it without dying, you know you're ready for UN. Good luck!

The Gold skin is meh at best. What wouldâve been cooler is if the somehow added a 16 bit sprite skin, but all glory kills would just look like Doomguy Punching, and all cut scenes would be of Doomguy standing with his rifle
Yeah, but i think it's more for showing off on Battle Mode, like if you see a Gold Suit with the Altar of Glory on the ennemy, you know that you will be on a lot of pain. ^^

Is it just me or do a lot of the non-default skins for the weapons make them look like nerf guns. I enjoy nerf as much as the next person but wish the skins for the weapons looked more bad ass in my hand during the game rather than expecting a foam bullet to come out of the end of the barrel

Well given an average match for me was 6 minutes, 5 rounds max, 30 mins per match which would add up to 150 hours

Imo most of these skins are really underwhelming or offputting. I wanted to use the preator suit but the visor changed to be transparent and the proportions look bizarre now

It's honestly not that good looking though. I like the gold skin it's cool, but I wish it wasn't all gold it looks funny.
The gold skin looks great. The problem is the black/gold contrast of the Phobo skin makes the gold pop more, imo.
Have to give credit, they did a good job incorporating the new features into the classic uniform while still respecting the old school design.

The Ember armor is the coolest one, just look at that flaming sword! although I wish it wasn't just the head and blade that was on fire, and more like the demonic armor. The sentinel armor is also cool, but shows way too much skin. That's the way you get stabbed doomguy, put on a shirt.
The golden armor is awesome but way too hard to get.
I wish we could mix and match pieces of armor like in the first game, or that they had a knight skin again. Just imagine it, all the best looking features from each skin. I'm gonna miss my old character that I spent so long to get looking cool. Maybe they'll add more in updates or dlc.
You can get gold, just back up your save data after every big fight on UN and you'll get it eventually. If you die, just reload your backed up save.
The Ember skin reminds me of Ghost Rider. Imagine if the Doom Slayer somehow got those powers added to his own

After linking your Twitch Prime and Bethesda accounts, you have to claim it in the Twitch Prime loot section. I had the same issue until I claimed it in Twitch.

Jeffrry Salgado yeah, you should double-check to see if youâve claimed it like Sunset Paradox said. The reward wonât automatically show up if you just link the accounts, you need to go to the âTwitch Rewardsâ page and hit âclaim nowâ under the Doom Eternal Doomicorn section. Hope that helps!

I've never played any of the modern doom games except for the old ones, so I'm just bias when I say I like the classic suit the most, especially the fact that the abs piece is ripped apart, not just a open compartment
Deluxe edition demonic slayer is my favorite. The flames look soo good on the default suit.

I always like playing with either demonic slayer or zombie slayer with the demon Ui, plus if you use the bloodied super shotgun skin it just looks awesome.

Can someone plsease help me? Im having a issue with the milestones. I mastered all my guns but the milestone(s) not tracking. And i don't want to play the whole game again. It's not giving the awards. What should i do. (I'm using only single save slot)
Unfortunately the game has a glitch where players don't get their rewards for milestones. Hopefully id Software will fix the game asap.
How to fix:
Complete any level and scroll over to the rewards then press a or d to scroll over to your unlocks

Wait a minute... I pre ordered the deluxe edition of the game and I didn't get the classic shotgun skin... come to think of it I didn't get that doot skin either.
There are a lot of problems and glitches in the online elements of the game at the moment. Hopefully id Software will be patching things up asap đđ»
@xXLoneLoboXx try going into settings and into the bethesda.net tab logged into the bethesda account that you applied the code to. Then scroll to the bottom and click reconcile entitlements. Hope this helps!

Phobos suit is the best one so far. It stands out without being so completely over the top as the gold UN version.

You might have to reload game a couple of times or you might have to verify email for slayers club, I didnât get mine immediately I got it like 2 days after I signed up for slayers club

Start a new game on a new save slot, select Extra Life Mode. You can play it on the easiest diffiuculty if you so desire đ€đ»

I'm on Xbox and I was able to get the doom 3 red marine skin but I can't get the other two. Also love the vid and phobos is definitely my favorite, or sentinel training
Everybody (even me) loves the Zombie Slayer!! They even had a toy statue of it as Merch.

You forgot the unmaykr, unless they don't have any other skins for that gun.
There aren't any other skins.
You can't view that weapon in the menu, its just not there. You can't see that weapon anywhere else than in the game itself as you use it. You can't even see it with the photo mode, it shows as the BFG 9000. Because of this, I decided to leave it out of this video altogether.
My favourite skin has to be the QuakeCon 2021 skin cuz it just looks epic.

I wish that they had every skin for every weapon (Maykr skin for all weapons, praetor skin for all weapons, astro skin for all weapons, etc) Also, a Maykr skin for the slayer's armor would look nice too

Looking at all these makes me think imagine the doom slayer in Mortal kombat story starts by some portal opening and he goes in it and it reveals its the ma universe then ending being that he uses the our glass to prevent any and all invasions on earth or he just straight up destroys it we all know his moves and weapons so this would be a great DLC character
Original praetor suit should trigger secret level like Samuel Hayden still has the tether hooked up to it and he fucks with you again when you put it on
