I just realized who this guy is. I used to haul asphalt,gravel and roto-mill with this guy. Was on a coal haul route with him a few times back then too. Eldorado is only about 20 miles from me here in Thompsonville. May just have to go try to catch up with this bunch.

This is a yearly event at that racetrack, most try and flip over backwards if they can. It's a big crown favorite in the area.
+Chris Erb There may be one or two that actually try to flip over and those are usually purposely built just to do that. Most of these cars have plenty of horsepower to flip over but that won't get them the prize of $10k for longest wheelstand. They may get highest or most violent but surely wouldn't cover the cost of repairing some of the cars which are high dollar drag cars when not competing in this contest.
Wrecks HARD into the wall during burnout. Wheelies straight up on green and throttles it AFTER his front end is destroyed. I knew as soon as I saw the green paint with hot pink lettering that the owner would probably flog it to death. Mr. 4 Speed would have set that wheelie down like a feather falling to the ground and won the race. But maybe that's part of the show here. I don't care how much money Hollywood Trucking has...you don't treat a car like that. But it's his...he can do what he wants.

I want to see a repair video or a review video of the damage. If that car is going to be used in more of these wheelstand competitions then I think its time for a front suspension upgrade with some more downward travel to be able to soak up those rough landings.

That engine is far more advanced than the mostly stock suspension ....the pro stock and sportsman class cars launch like a magnet on rails and run virtually identical lanes that is a safer car to be in.....extend the wheelbase serious multi link diff. with a snubber and wheelie bars....narrow the front track widen the rear with more tub more tire.....but you knew all that....
