Yeah...what is it like to drive these examples of mechanical craftsmanship out on the roads throughout the US these days? Id imagine if you were local to the area, and NEVER misbehaved where anyone could really hear ya+drove the speedlimit or 5 under...you might still get lucky?
Just started this video, and had to thumbs up! what it used to be... Thank you for sharing these memories! and you couldn't have picked a meaner lookin G-body for the cover pic!!!
In the spring it woukd always rain and get cold . Hotrod weekend in oc back in the early 2000s was amazing seeing the cars burnouts and of course the cops lol!!
The guy with the purple and white pro street 61’ vette used to live down the block from me. I would see that car all the time growing up. I think he passed away, don’t quote me
@iraqifoodcart8447 I got confused for a second because I was expecting him to pan towards the car so as he was locking onto his target I was starting to try to move my head so I could see the car 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
So these are literally all show cars now? Because I can guarantee most of these vehicles haven’t seen a strip or been ran like they were built for in ages. Beautiful cars, don’t get me wrong, but this is 29 minutes of my life I wasted hoping for some pulls and stuff..
It cracks me up every time I see these guys with their half funny car roll cage That their heads gonna bounce off every time you do a burn out . But it's probably a trailer Queen anyway
Ive only seen 1 pro street car in my life when it decided to come to a mixed-type street race, got to stand at the curb while it pulled away from turning out onto the road and sent it (most unforgettable sound and feeling not just in my body, but in the earth beneath my feet). Showed me what the *next* level up in cars (im into exotics) was like. 🫠
When men were men, and cars had 8 cylinders.
😂😂😂
Back before they instantly impounded anything modified
Why stay there

Could you imagine how much fuel was consumed trying to drive up and down the strip when they have the traffic lights timed the way they do there. 😮
