Woosung (Sammy) never sang until he joined church choir as an older teenager. He tried singing in Korea, it didn't work out. So he started teaching English. His friends called him for a gig, they needed a lead singer and begged him for just one show. And he's been with them since. There are even some old videos of them busking on the streets.

thanks for reacting to the rose! i don't know if you are open to reacting to a new show, but woosung was on a show called "superband". it was a survival show with a lot of different musicians that came together to create different bands every week. the show is absolutely incredible! there are some really talented people involved (and there isn't all the drama of normal survival shows - everyone gets along so well and was truly rooting for each other). it seems like it would be something right up your alley ☺
If you like the K-band recommendations you should totally check out the OG bands in kpop, C.N Blue and FTISLAND. C.N Blue's debut song 'I'm a loner' is iconic. They also have a song named I'm Sorry. They filmed the MV for that song in London! and FTISLAND 'hello hello' is one of my personal favs
