I recently got two copies of the Vivtar 500mm lens. One came with a 2x tele-converter and T-EF mount and the other with T-EOS M mount only, so I got to use it on both 60D and EOS M and I can't wait to go to the fields and get some distant birds and people working there, or to brick factories with the tall kiln and the beautiful setup at the base of it, that almost looks like a space station.
Hello...great informative video! I've had a long career as a photojournalist and have kept most of my lenses. Some I haven't used in decades and some I still do. I have a bunch of Canon FD, Nikkor F, Leica M and Hasselblad lenses that I'd now like to use on my BlackMagic 6KPro. If I understand correctly you guys make glassless converters for the Nikkor F and Hasselblad lenses for the EF Mount...do you have a converter for the Leica M mounts to EF as well? And final question...I'm thinking of getting a BM 4K with the MFT mount so I can use my Canon FD lenses. If I had a BM 6K with the L mount, would it be easier to convert all of these lenses to that model? Thanks in advance for your help and advice...I appreciate it. Peter
That's correct, most of our EF adapters are glassless, the only ones that use glass are the adapters that have to correct focal flange distance, like our Canon FD to EF mound adapter. We don't make a Leica M to Canon EF adapter because Leica M lenses have a substantially shorter focal flange distant than Canon EF and we were unable to come up with a corrective optic version that worked. We make FD to MFT adapters that would let you use FD lenses on your BM4k, and we also make a FD to L adapter that would work with the L-mount Pocket 6K.
New to all of this... looking to help my son. He has a Blackmagic design pocket 6k cinema camera and trying to fit a Blazar GJ T2.9 1.8x Anamorphic Lens Pf + Ef to this camera... Ef adaptor does not seem to be fitting on camera for him to be able to put on the Anamorphic lens. What are we missing?
Unfortunately you can't use C-mount lenses on a Canon EF mount camera because of focal flange distance issues. C-mount has a shorter focal flange distance than Canon EF so if you adapt a C-mount lens to a Canon EF camera like the Pocket 6K, the lens will not focus to infinity and only works for macro images and video.
Unfortunately an RF to L mount adapter would be impossible to make. This is because both mounts have the exact same focal flange distance: 20.00 mm, so there's no space for an adapter.
You'll need our FD to MFT adapter. We make a standard version: fotodioxpro.com/products/fd-mft Or you could get the one with a built in variable ND filter: fotodioxpro.com/products/fd-mft-ndt

Nice! Have fun!
Hello what adaptor can I use with my blackmagic 6kpro with Meke lenses?
What mount do the Meke lenses have?
MFT mount
@@AdoraTV365 Unfortunately we don't make an MFT to Canon EF mount adapter, or an MFT to L-mount adapter if you have the new 6K full frame.

If it's a PL to EF adapter it should fit on the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K. Are you using a Fotodiox PL to EF adapter?
is there an adaptor for sony lenses that you can put on blackmagic camera
Not at this time.
What about C mount?? Can c mount lenses be used without vignette via a crop mode or something?
Unfortunately you can't use C-mount lenses on a Canon EF mount camera because of focal flange distance issues. C-mount has a shorter focal flange distance than Canon EF so if you adapt a C-mount lens to a Canon EF camera like the Pocket 6K, the lens will not focus to infinity and only works for macro images and video.
@@FotodioxInc Ah, that makes sense. Thanks for the quick reply!
Any RF to L Mount adapter available to use for the new BMCC6k FF? =)

Hello I just got a canon fd 28m sc lens for my bmpcc 6k what adapter do you recommend to use

Thank you but i just realize i have the bmpcc6k g2, i don't think that should make a difference @@FotodioxInc
@@stilgoin If it has the built in ND filters then you won't need our ND Throttle adapter :)
Please, I need some of your products... can you help?
Yes, did you have some questions about specific products?
no m42? :D
We mention our M42 to Canon EF adapter at 1:17
