This video should have 1M views....Thank you so much for all of these tips! As a new instructor on Udemy, I'm really looking forward to implementing your advice!
That last tip is the best! Focus on the enjoyment of the journey. Money follows passion.
That is true bro
Hi i am myself a udemy and skill share instructor. The videos provide a lot of insight . Thanks a lot for the good and informational video
Thank you so much for your valuable info. I have just launched my very first course on Udemy and I made 67.99 dollars in 2 weeks, then I stopped promoting it as I am focusing on building the next one. Seeing the sales stopping and the graph shooting to zero was quite depressing for me 😂😂😂 but when you said you made only 2 dollars for the first month, I felt so energised and lucky. Your courses are amazing! I am definitely going to apply as much as I can of your advice. Thank you again💕
how're you doing now after a year?
@@thawban1 Hi Thawban, not bad..i am using only Udemy platform and I'm selling my courses organically, so I am not promoting them very much. Are you a course creator as well?

Man I’m only 9 seconds in and this is really helpful. Thanks! But I do have a question, so say you make your first course with an I-Phone (just using what you have), if the mic is close and sounds good on the playback, would that be acceptable? Or is there just no way out of getting a mic?
Tip 31 is the best. Thank you

Great tips
superb Presentation
Hey Nick. Hope you're doing good. I've seen certain Udemy courses that have subtitles in more than one language, like French, Spanish, etc. and not just English. However, when I uploaded my course, I had auto-generated subtitles only in English. How can I have auto-generated subtitles in other languages?
No, other languages are added manually
@@NickNyxson thanks
Great video. Thanks for all the info.
Wow..very nice info.

Thank you.

Superb. ❤❤❤. Thank u so much

Thank you Nick♥
Good!!!
Thank you ..
Great content! Thank you
This is phenomenal!
Thank you!
On another note, Udemy earnings are terrible, how do we maximise it? Drive sales from outside Udemy?
Very informative 👏 👌
Would you make a video about how as instructor on Udemy you can promote your coupon codes, and where?
Thanks Nick👍🏻
Very low watching
Very much of value information
Thnx to make it
Hi, you given an excellent tips on Udemy lectures. Actually I want to know that how much time have to give for the test video, (I mean 30 minutes or 1 hour or one and half hour test video) please let me know.
Thank you.
Do you recommend sticking to a niche as an instructor or covering multiple niches is ok?
I published my first course and there are absolutely zero enrollments yet 😢
very very valuable tips. Are there any demerits in providing the entire course for free on Udemy.
What is the minimum length of a video to become eligible for sale ?
12:16 you told that I can give away the snippets of Udemy course for free in CZcams or other social media. So does that create a copyright problem in CZcams? Bcoz that comes under re used content policy.
Can I use the courses that I have created for Udemy on my CZcams channel also ?
You look like the actor from “split”
Can I upload the same course on udemy and skill share as well?
Great video... Is it possible to post udemy video free for say first 1 month and than add its price ?
You said an individual can focus for 15 mins maximum. I totally agree. So why this video is for 23 mins? 🤔
Maybe because this is not Udemy lecture?! Don't you think??
Plus you can count this video as 31 different lessons in 23 minutes
Hi Nick, your videos are gold for me, keep to continue, big like and subscribe from my side, maybe in the future we'll met to share info each-other and to drink a beer.
Hey there, thank you so much for your kind words :)
As for the beer, we'll never know where life might take us and beer might be great destination:)
I have actually an amazing skill to share with potential.. That noone really has shared on udemy, there are videos about it on CZcams too but not specificied or complete and i know if i make it paid, I know I'm going to make alot of money in just a short time but i dont wanna record myself and this video is the only video im going to make and i dont feel like it's necessary to record myself.. I will just do a screen recording and explain everything i will be showing ... Is that alright? I don't care about it being perfect... I will actually be sharing a Skill that i have seen others sharing for 500-1000$ but i will make it below 100$..
Nice. Thank you. I selected Udemy Business. I m going to remove it. Do you think it is worth to invest you tube or meta ads tp increase sales in Udemy?
Jai Shree Saraswati Mataji ki ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏. Jai Shree Brahma Bhagwanji ki ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏.
Udemy ad before this video
The students who paid the full price don’t feel bad about dumping the price? Thank you for the great content.
No, because it is extremely rare for people to pay full price. Absolute majority of people buy courses when they are on sales.
I have thousands of sales and maybe only three of them were actually full price.
So that is not a problem there
@@NickNyxson I want to create a language course but the problem is I charge around 20 euros per lesson with my private lessons and Udemy wants me to sell the whole course for the price of one lesson. I know the course is one time effort that will bring me passive income but it still doesn’t feel right when I also consider Udemy’s 50% share. Btw I think it is a fair share as they are the ones doing the marketing for me but in terms of effort and quality-wise it just doesn’t feel right to sell it for 19.99 dollars. Maybe I am missing a big point in the context.
Completely wrong approach. You seem to completely miss the point of selling courses.
No problem. Let me explain.
You said that you charge 20$(let's use USD for the purpose of this example) for 1 hour of class. And let's say that it will take 20 hours of work to create a decent course. 20x20=400$ if you worked instead of making a course. If you create course instead there is a very high chance that you will not just return your money's worth, you will also most likely earn even more (if the course is good) and you will start building a brand around your language expertise and gain even more hourly students (possibly even charging more).
The issue is that you look at Udemy as a teacher when you should look at it as a business, and as just a teacher you won't be able to achieve a lot there.
P.S. I didn't even mention an ability to upload same course on Skillshare, potentially doubling the income and even some other platforms (I think there are some language specific course platforms).
@@NickNyxson Thank you Nick! I totally understand it but I had to ask it stupid way to get an ExplainMeLikeIam5 type of answer. :)) Another problem I can’t seem to figure out is that am I allowed to enhance the course and sell it by myself using Teachable. Doesn’t Udemy forbid you to have a similar course in another platform? Or is it just for the exclusive content that they sell to companies?
You are forbidden to sell with other platforms only if you are subscribed to "Udemy for Business" service (which you should not subscribe). But even then you are allowed to sell on your website and Teachable can be used as your website if you have custom domain
