udemy has year round sale it means even the best instructor with 199 dollar content can only expect maximum 1 to 5 dollar profit per enroll is it. Am i expecting right.
i just wanted to get clear insight from you because i was going to put lot of money on recording gears i have nothing and time around 6 months on creating a 50 + hours high value science course.
Is there any option to opt out sale so i can price it directly to sale equivalent price 20 dollar.

Uploading courses on Udemy is free, Udemy only takes cut when student is buying the course from the structure

I'm glad I saw this. But when Udemy offers 75% off more days than regular price, you have to price higher to make a decent profit.

You can't, whether you price your course $20 or $200, when sales are going your course will be always priced between $10-$20. No matter the price you said plus with all the regional pricing, the best you can expect to make from each you to be sales is somewhere between 2 to 5 dollars, no more than that no matter how high your price will be.
Only way to make higher profits is to opt out from all the sales and sell your course for only full price, but this way you will be unlikely to make any sales at all.
