- Peugeot 204 from 1976... the going to town rig! So long as town isnt far away!!
Imported into the UK in 2003 and sat in a shed for about 10years...
Not satisfied with the short range of the NHRA approved race tank, best get Fred from FredsFabrications to fix this darn tank! Then, for a little cruise and test!
let me know what you think of the little new outro!

Magnifique! Yes I had similar and cleaned the drains, oiled it all up and it works and seals well now!
C'est une très bonne vidéo ! J' aime bien la 204 mais je n'ai pas d'occasion de l' avoir. J'avais une 404 , 505 et aujourd'hui j'utilise une 406.
Awesome! Time to find a 204 somewhere in a shed!

@@PiggyPower على الرحب ..انا من الجزائر
لقد كنا نمتلك سيارة .مثلها .في سنة 1980. لكن كانت سيارة عائلية .احبها كثيرا
There was a leak then not a leak? Did you send it back to fixed the small leak?
Yup! I do mention it in the video 😂😜👌🐷
@@PiggyPower sorry mate I didn’t catch it, maybe was amused by your growl when you saw the leak. Not amused it was leaking, at your reaction
Indeed... A little later I show it running and give a shot underneath and mention the fix 👍👌
@@PiggyPower I stand corrected, great videos keep up the hard work
@@graemefisher7014 thankyou! Hope you enjoy 👍🐷
What the theory with diesel to find leaks ? Never heard of that before
The diesel will find its way everywhere! Because it's closer to its ancester, oil, it can creap around looking for all the cracks or holes etc, even going vertically sometimes and doesn't evaporate like petrol, obvs
@@PiggyPower Thanx for reply .Would of thought diesel is more dense than petrol as it's a heavy oil there for more viscous to get through cracks and pin holes and petrol is a fraction from it.Also I would have thought white spirit with food dye could be ok
You would have thought all those things.... But diesel is the preferred method.
Plus if you ever need to repair it after it has found a leak, you've not got to vent the tank for another week!
Nous pouvons entendre le son du klaxon
Well that's good eh!
Fuel line should be STEEL not ali or copper - they're both too soft and able to be pierced by thrown up stones or bottomming out.
Brake lines are soft copper though?! And sit in the same place 🤔
@@PiggyPower Brake lines should a) also be steel (thats why Pug make them out of steel) and b) brake lines don't set light to the car when they scrape over something and make sparks 😁
@@HarryJamesBooks brake fluid is incredibly flammable tbh!
@@PiggyPower Being serious, there is an alloy that can be used for brake pipes that has been formulated for vintage and oldies that acts a bit like copper, ie easier to work, but it's not copper, it's a copper/nickel/steel alloy called Cunife. A manufacturer got that through TüV testing in Germany, but copper brake pipes are a no-no unless the tester is a dunce.
@@HarryJamesBooks well yeah, we all call them copper lines but they are a mix/alloy
