You know what? I don't believe in this kind of endings in this show. I bet that Beale had an old best friend, who is a high officer too, and has the same idea about the CRM and other settlements. And also we all know Mason Beale, the son of Johnathan Beale from World Beyond. He can take the comic part of comic's Sebastian Milton. We all be waiting for season 2.

@@Raztatic ain't no boss just a blue collar boy 😁 I was just informing you that Carl was always gonna die, he ain't who he was in the comics no matter how bad y'all wanted him to be! In the show he was a baby sitter that couldn't really cut it alone out side his safe zone! Season 4 when he lashed out at his unconscious dad he left the house walked 2 zombies around a corner and tripped over his own feet, 2 seasons later he was out with Enid reading comics, we get a glimpse of his comic character, he finds Spencer's mom and walks her to a spot Spencer and Michonne could easily spot her, a season later he goes all my daddy's killed more people then you to negan, to again tripping over his self in the forest eventually getting bit. He was never gonna make it to the end it was just unfortunate he gets bit and not shot during the war or something would have been better for his character in my opinion

I would have rather had Rick end up with the lady on the other end of the phone who called the prison in Season 3. Michonne and Rick just never made sense to me, yeah, I was years behind in the series, but knowing how it ends then watching it get there, psssth; I mean, aside from already having a kid (dealbreaker), Rick could have ended up with the chick from Alexandria...or better yet, with Beth.
I'm glad they gave Rick a happy ending in this

Having Rick see his and Michonee’s son for the very first time harkens back to the first season when he found Lori and Carl still alive.

I loved the ending but I wish the timing was a bit different, we get three episodes of Rick being scared that happiness is a reality again, that’s understandable and makes it feel more real to see a man like him so broken ..but then the satisfaction of the ending is like less than five min of him seeing Judith again and meeting RJ.. I wanted to see that go on for an entire episode, then walking back to their settlement, seeing people reacting to Rick alive one by one, getting those tears pouring even if it was a silent montage with great music playing, slow motion shots low angle sun.. easy recipe for a total satisfaction ending. Instead it’s the five minutes only and it’s just feels not a flushed out resolution after Rick going near a decade trying to get back to his family… like easiest callback ever would have been they lead Rick through town he sees carol, Gabriel everyone and they sit down for a big outdoor family barbecue dinner almost exactly the way Rick imagined after Glenn and Abraham died or even walking RJ down the road and some cows come up to them… I mean.. really loved what they did just wanted a little more of it, more conclusion to the conclusion… just praying Daryl’s show ends with him returning and they do this big bromance reunion, tears pouring, saying “brother” that will get me.. 😭 sold. Lol here’s hopin’ 🤞🏻

I couldn't say this any better. It's all the feelings I have. You never know what they're doing right now. I think they wanted to see how much of a viewership they would get. I think the answer was given. Hopefully they're doing something behind our back that we don't know about and I pray that's true 💖🙏💖

All Rick ever wanted was for his family to be found and together. He never looked for a 'cure', he never wanted to rule like General Beale, either. If we never see Rick again, this is a great way to end his story. He found his family.

The best part is they reformed the CRM, now the CRM are helping the Coalition and their 4 communities, I can also tell they are gonna fix their mistakes, rebuild the Campus Colony and Omaha Nebraska, and be back as allies of Portland Oregon

My only question is who was looking after the kids this whole time?? Daryl, Carol and Maggie are all gone. I can maaaayyybbeee see Ezekiel or Aaron. Possibly even Eugene. But they never explained that. Were they left to just fend for themselves?

I'm glad that we got to see Rick and Michonne's storylines wrapped up but boy was it a let down. What is this dialogue? And I understand that this is a fictional show about zombies but there was just something missing from this series that the first few seasons of TWD seemed to capture and that is a semblance of realism. When the show runners switched, the storylines became repetitive, the dialogue way too corny every chance there was and the charm of it feeling organic. Makes me so sad.
You hit the nail on the head! They should have kept the show runner from the first 2 seasons, Frank Daramont!!! The human connections were so much more real. This ending was very bland and corny. No real emotion at all
There were so many let downs in the last several seasons. Will we never get a Rick and Daryl reunion?
The first season's dialogue was a letdown too. I kept wondering why Rick, after waking up from a coma and reuniting with his family, never asked his wife or friend about the zombie apocalypse. What's going on? How did this all happen? Are our families elsewhere ok? Brothers and sisters? Parents? How did this all start? What happened to the government? The President? The military? Do we know if this crisis is nationwide, or just happening in the state of Georgia? What about the rest of the world?
You know, just basic questions anyone would ask, ESPECIALLY if you had recently woken up from a coma.

As much as I want to like this ending, the one thing I really disliked was that they made CRM dirty by letting Rick and Michonne knock them down like that.
Felt like this would’ve been a good opportunity to let one more villain to be in the mix and actually proceeded with what Jadis said might happen, which is their people being attacked and that there was actually a boss in the mix that controlled everything behind the shadows we never noticed before.
Tbh if twd ever has final boss it will probably be a horde of variant walkers.

I'm genuinely curious as to how the actor playing RJ made it to the show. For everyone's sake I hope TWD time skips their growth and replace the actor playing RJ. I've seen much more better kid actors who nailed their roles and actually want the viewers for them to come back and maintain their role until they grow up. But this actor playing RJ? Just take a good look at 1:58. Rick, Michonne, and Judith were emotional nailing their roles while this NPC looks like an NPC. The show really messed up by taking Carl out of the show so what did they do instead? Gave Rick and Michonne a son and an npc.

Felix: It turns out the CRM never wiped out communities it was their special operation forces: the Frontliners but after this guy named Rick exposed their plans the CRM is now reformed they are gonna help communities and even survivors
Iris: That guy did it that’s a noble hero I guess now they are gonna rebuild Omaha Nebraska and the Campus Colony and the best part is Portland is now back in alliance with the CRM’s city: Philadelphia Pennsylvania
To be fair even World Beyond showed that most of the CRM didn't know, just a select few. Huck didn't know and she played a major role in their plans. The only ones who knew for sure in that series were Beale, Kublek, Jadis, Newton and Barca. Pierce might've known too but that was about it. Most of the soldiers were simply following orders and didn't know the bigger picture. Note that when Jadis explains herself there she purposefully has Felix switch to a private radio channel so that none of her goons can hear them talking.
Also notice how there's only one circle on the helicopters now??? Portland dissolved their alliance with the Civic Republic.
Ok this was the best feel good ending for TWD franchise of the three spinoffs. However I felt that at only 6 episodes and all around that 45mins mark that it felt rushed and unrealised. Whether this is budget and cast availability reason?
For years these were well fleshed out (a little cheesy) characters but the true strength of the TWD is that it works best as an ensemble piece- Rick, Michone,Darryl, Carol, Maggie, Negan and their interplay.
