This really just shows you how much opportunity LEGO has for this theme. It's almost underwhelming to see such an amazing franchise used for only a handful of sets. Obviously, it looks like the market is there (for how well Rivendale sold), so I'm crossing my fingers that we'll get a full-blown lasting theme like Lego Harry Potter. I was so excited to hear the designers who designed Rivendale to talk; you could just hear the enthusiasm in their voice. It's a very promising theme that I hope they pursue. Wonderful video, by the way! Kept me entertained the whole way through

This was my favorite Lego theme growing up. I have fond memories of getting extra sets on clearance at Walmart. Crazy how expensive each set has become. Well done, great video!!!

this was nostalgic for me lol, all of these lego sets were a major part of my childhood back in 2013ish. 9 year old me desperately wanted every single one of these, i still have the tower of orthanc in storage.

Elvish armor? ELVISH ARMOR?! It’s Mithril! Meeeeeethrrrillllllll!!!! It’s a substance found by the dwarves of Khazad Dùm and the elvish word for it is Mithril. The Mithril shirt was given to Bilbo from Thorin and then Bilbo gave it to Frodo. Enough nerd ranting, this was a great video and I loved how you connected them all and made it chronological. Really Awsome!

This is the kind of thing I would dream of doing as a kid. Scrolling through the website, looking at each set and imagining how awesome it would be if I had them all and could put them together as one diorama. Cool to know that some people are able to live my 13 year old selfs dream.
We had the same dream as a kid. I’m very lucky to be able to do this as an adult now, so it’s fun to share with others what it all looks like.

That could be really cool! I don’t really have too many classic themes, so it would be fun to take a blast into the past.
there should definitely be more sets to fill up the major scenes that didnt get an interpretation.
Loth Lorien (galadriel’s tree city), Boromir’s confrontation with Frodo and his death (maybe a part of a larger argoneth), Barad-dûr, and of course, both Minas Tirith, and mount doom.

Loved this video and honestly I expected a lot more LOTR lego sets to have existed! I am surprised there was no mt. doom, or Osgiliath, or Minus tirith. Also they made rivendell but NOT Lothlorian? But to me the biggest shock is they didnt make one for the Ambush at Amon Hen??? That's one of the most iconic location and moments in the first movie imo

I have a lot of the LOTR and Hobbit sets. When they came out I strategically bought the sets that would get me all of The Fellowship members and all of Thorin's Company. I did get a few extra cool sets like The Battle of the Five Armies, The Orc Forge, And Witch King Battle. My favorite is the Lonely Mountain with Smaug. My favorite of my LOTR sets is Moria which was the first set I got. Honestly wish I would have bought more of them at the time.
Lonely Mountain is such a good set. I can’t wait to crack it open. It’s been fun being able to build all these sets I missed out on.
