I suggested british court to try Putin because they have by far the highest moral authority, after all british court decided that well documented war criminal Tony Blair cannot be sued for war crimes and in his role in Iraq war, because he enjoys immunity, as they say.

Well, my friends, the Council of Europe was founded in 1949, has +/- 50 members and aims at protecting human rights and the rule of law. Russia has long been one of its members before being excluded in 2022. The Council of Europe has nothing to do with the European Union, which was founded in 1957 on a french initiative as a group of 6 countries (at the time, 27 nowadays) aiming at ever-closer political, social and economical union.
It happens all 27 EU member-states are also members of the Council of Europe as required but that’s pretty much it.
Now you don’t want to mix it with the European Council, which is very much a EU thing, actually one of the four EU institutions alongside the EU Commission (executive branch), the EU Parliament and the European Court of Justice. The European Council is by far the most powerful of the four as it gathers all 27 heads of state.
As an official media of a country willing to become a EU member state, you should display a bit more accuracy.

Capturing a few villages in eastern Ukraine, with a death toll of thousands of barely trained Russian conscripts for every little street captured, is hardly the "short and victorious war" Russia blared at us in its relentless propaganda during February 2022. Russia is a laughing stock. If Ukraine is keeping Russia at bay, even with all the shortages it faced due to foolish US politics, then Russia not only isn't a peer military force to NATO, it isn't even a peer military force to Ukraine. Even when outgunned, Ukraine fights smartly and efficiently. Russia just throws lives, resources and everything away, all because of one old man's sick obsession with war, conquest and spreading death in eastern Europe.
I know Putrid has even set up a weird cult movement through agents in several EU countries, to spread some sort of weird false religion that people should give up to Russia and bow down to Putrid, but not even that is going to help him. The West, though it took a while, has woken up, Ukraine has no illussions about Russia anymore, and we're all supremely angry at Putrid. He's not getting out of this one, and Russia will lose this war, despite their obsessive and childish claims that victory is at hand. Yeah, tell that to the 500 000+ dead Russian soldiers and conscripts, many of them forcibly and violently conscripted to fight and die in Ukraine. Ha...

What is the situation at the moment?
The Ukrainian troops are far too few in number and are worn out at the front and are therefore losing more and more combat power.
Now Zelensky has passed the law far too late, which could potentially lead to more conscription.
There are now two options.
Either the newly conscripted troops are given a crash course for a few days and sent to the front as cannon fodder. This would relieve the strain on the worn-out troops but would lead to high losses for the poorly trained new troops.
Or the newly conscripted troops are properly trained in the hinterland for months.
This means that the worn-out troops have to continue fighting at the front for longer and are therefore further worn out.
So things are not looking good for Ukraine because they were not able to mobilize enough people in time to defend the country.
And the question is how motivated the new conscripts are who have been shirking their duties for two years.
Ukraine should finally negotiate. The situation can only get worse over time.

I am sorry to say that this is just nonsense. In order for a law or a tribunal to have any kind of effects, you need someone to enforce it. In this case, Putin is on Russia, where prosecution is simply impossible without a direct war against Russia. The reality? This is just a way to pay a bunch of people on different countries with public money, nothing more. Its not needed, nor effective. Its just a way to pay favours.
