  • Can you wear a gold Rolex Submariner on a daily basis? Should you put stickers on it to protect the polished surfaces? And how does the gold Rolex Submariner compare to the Rolex Hulk and the Rolex Submariner two tone bluesy?

The only thing cooler than a gold submariner is a beat to shit, well loved, and well worn gold submariner. If you can’t handle the scratches, you should probably sell it.

The other view is that a watch is like a brand new shiny car , you don't beat the crap outta the bodywork to prove you love it .. different strokes etc. It may be a flex that you don't care about damaging such an expensive purchase but some just like to keep it looking like the watch they fell in love with on day one

What is the point of buying a gold watch if you can’t wear it?

Protective stickers on a watch reminds me of my old dad who had those plastic runners over carpets to protect them.

Like ur videos. I'm sorry to say this. I bought a rolex to wear it not to stick it in a box and admire it. My father has a rolex from the 70's and it has been worn as if he didn't give a 💩. Someday I am sure I will inherited his rolex and I will wear it time to time to remember him. 1 thing he thought me enjoy what you have.
During covid a few of my friends have passed away and it has made me realize 1 thing enjoy life since you never know when you going to punch out. So bud wear your GOLD ROLEX AND ENJOY THE LIVING 💩 OUT OF IT.
This is my first 2 tone sub mariner love it wearing the 💩 out of it have a few scratches on it had it for a 4 days and I don't care i may be gone in the next 6 months.
    Enjoy life

People install screen protector, and cellphone case to protect it and no body judge. If he wants to protect the beautiful watch, who cares, and I think that's an smart idea.

This is very informative. Thanks, Marc.
I was expecting the full gold to be a lot heavier, like 275g or thereabout. I'm surprised it's only 203g, that makes it very wearable to me. My TT Bluesy 126613lb weighs 175g, not much of a difference. I agree that the dial is just astonishing in these watches. Honestly my jaw dropped at the AD. I had to take it home back in September 2020. I bought this piece first and foremost for the dial. It's the most beautiful Rolex blue dial IMHO, considerably more striking than the blue YM, DJ or OP41. I wasn't a huge fan of TT when I started collecting but it's been growing on me for some time and I was finally ready for it. Now I really get it and appreciate the way gold, steel and blue combine beautifully.
The Bluesy is the most attractive TT watch to me, bar none. It's the ideal complement to my sober steel watch collection. It's like the piece for special occasions, going out at the weekend, or just when I'm in the mood for something a bit more showy, fun and playful. Generally however for daily wear I prefer my understated YM40 116622 pt dial or even my SD43. I'm a reserved type of guy, but it feels good to wear something that pops a little every now and then.
I considered the full gold at some point. It looks absolutely superb. I thought the weight would have been a problem but after watching this video I realise I was wrong. The fact it's a softer metal is a minus but not a deal breaker as I'm generally cautious with my luxury pieces. My problem is the sticker shock. I would want to trade in my other Rolex watches and I would miss them terribly. Also it's a lot of money on the wrist and I'm not sure I would feel comfortable wearing it on the street in the summer with a t-shirt. If for some reason I'd need to sell it at some point, I would take a huge hit which is not the case with my 3 steel and TT pieces. So I'm content as it is, no need to go the full monty.
More power for those who take the jump, so congratulations Marc. It's a stunner, wear it in good health my friend. 🇪🇸
I have a beagle, my kids love her. Very stubborn and terrible with food, as expected. Brought me so much joy all these years. Now 12 years old, she's gone blind, deaf and has diabetes, poor thing 🐹.

..when your drive Rolls Royce you have to be careful with scratches; but if you drive Honda Civic, you can always buy paint from hardware store and solve the problem. You don’t drive Rolls Royce and park in old fashioned underground car park, you park in 5 star hotel lobby entrance.
Same to Gold Sub, you have to select where you go to, you don’t wear gold sub to squeezy packed environment ; you will scratch the watch easily

Why not baby the watch when wearing it for the special occasion instead of placing plastic stickers on them. Am sure with the stickers on, the gold will not shine as brightly under the light as it should hence defeat the purpose of having a flushy gold watch

I would certainly wear the new bluesy although don’t like it enough to buy .. you like to wear stickers , if it makes you feel better minimising the scratches stickers are the way to go . This watch is stunning in person I just couldn’t wear it . Some people love bling others it’s not their thing .no right no wrong ...

Yes, I like gold and Rolex. I've got my dog in a once a week training session with 3 other dogs. The first part of training is to give a lot of treats to get the first step of an idea. Not shit-loads but several at each step. Is this the way to go? Our dog seems to respond well to it but just want your opinion. And yes I would love to have a fairly new bluesy!
