GT6 holding on pretty well graphic-wise but the engine sound is way off, PD really has stepped up in that department.
thats because they just took the 458 sound and put it on the 430

One thing that evolved and makes a HUGE difference is the camera movement in the cockpit view. It makes everything more alive and realistic.
PD should make an option to turn it off though, a lot of players use rigid cam-scene relative motion to judge vehicle motion state. With the loose cockpit cam shake, they are only left with the rigid bumper cam.

The GI simulation inside the cockpit in GT7 makes such huge difference in the driving feels!

Gt6 just aged well just like GT4 and GT3 aged well

GT6 still looks great for a PS3 game but the immersion, lighting, graphics and sound improvement are great.

it may seem like a lie, but one of the things I want the most is GT7 on PS4/PS5. I've always wanted to try this game, even with these reduced graphics, so many cars... so many circuits... it's a perfect game.
It’s not even close to a perfect game. I was a massive GT fan when GT4 was around, I spent hundreds of hours on that game. GT7 is a joke of a game in comparison to GT4, and misses so much. For a game that has came out all these years later, to miss so many of the features and freedom that you had in a ps2 game is just pure laziness. GT7 is average at best. It doesn’t excel at anything. It’s just average at everything.

Not even a contest, GT7 is miles better with the sound of this car AND the track. Of course this does sadly remind me of the times when Daytona used to have Grandstands on the backstretch because they could pull those kind of crowds for the Daytona 500. How things have changed.

Never really felt the motion of speed with GT. Think the camera movement is to clean. Be good if you were to heavy break the camera move closed to the back of the car. Or shoot forward slightly in the cockpit Like the drivers head is moving forwards.
The Bus Stop in GT6 looks bad.
Thats because the track is outdated in GT6, it was modelled circa 2006-2007, whereas the GT7 is from around 2018 to now (The curbing as well as lack of grandstands on the backstretch being a dead giveaway).
I never noticed how bad was the track on GT6 😂
the transmission of the f430 in the gt7 is wrong, this car uses a single clutch transmission, and the gear change is not that fast

I wish the DCT/DSG cars sounded like this when up shifting. They need to fix this properly. For example, Nissan GTR, Lamborghini Huracan, Bugatti Veyron + Chiron, Porsche 918 just to name a few. There are heaps of cars like these that need the upshift sounds addressed. Been like this since GT Sport.

Yes, some camera angles are better in GT6. I noticed they were messing around with some cameras depending on the circuit with some game updates in GT7. They removed some zoom in and now they are more like Assetto Corsa or other racing games that are more focused in the track and car packs
