I just found your channel and I love it. As someone who suffered with acne when young I am foundation obsessed and in my 60’s with aging textured skin finding a good one is indeed challenging. So appreciate all of your recommendations. My current favorite is Chanel No1 but will definitely try some of these as I like the idea of a foundation wardrobe. Keep up your good work!

The new Chanel foundation is so beautiful on my skin. I wore it on Saturday and it was long wearing and I did not need a primer. I agree about the DIOR products they are mature skin friendly.

I would love to see a video regarding primer for textured, aging skin.
So far, the only foundation that’s worked on my skin is the new MUFE HD Skin but it’s a high end product. I’d much rather her start off with an affordable one, like the Sephora Collection Best Skin Ever foundation.

Ooooo I need try the Bobbi Brown. It looks so pretty. I agree the Sephora Best Skin it a good foundation. I was late to the game on this one. I have that same patch of texture on by forehead and I was so surprised on how it looks with this foundation.

I was about to pull the trigger on the Dior (either one) but the fragrance comment stopped me. Have you tried About Face's new foundation? I just ordered that and waiting for it to arrive. I think you and I are a shade match so it's super helpful when you review things and include the color you use.
Interestingly I do 28 in the Fenty stick where you do 27 and I do 27 in Lisa Eldridge where you do 26. So on one I go darker than you and on the other I go lighter than you.
My favorite right now seems to be Lancome in the new formulation of the original Teint Idole Ultra Wear (which is fragrance free) which is 445N for the equivalent of what used to be 465. But it just looks a little too 'makeup' for me for everyday wear, so still trying to find the right balance of natural yet coverage for 57 year old skin.
So glad to find your channel, since I think we're dealing with some similar things with our skin, plus color similarities.

What type of primer would you recommend with the dior backstage?
I found that I like a basic primer or a matte primer works for me. I tried a hydrating primer and I looked oily after two hours...lol
