Never in the field of comedy has someone made to laugh so many with so few words.
Pure utter genius.
A very special person, and actor indeed.
R I P John Sullivan and Roger Lloyd-Pack . . . 'Closed? How can it be closed? You said it was open 24 hours a day!' 'Yeah. But not at night.'
Extremely talented indeed. Wicked sense of humour. 👍
That was brilliant 👌😂
“You said it was open 24 hours a day!”
“Yeah, but not a night.”
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Bloody genius line! 👌
We could always go to the other depot.
@andrewh5457 is it open ?
No but it soon will be 😂😂
How they kept a straight face during triggers one liners is beyond me cause I would crack up all the time best show ever.
In a way Trigger was like Grandad he came out with one line and stole the show. Tessa Peake Jones said that Roger Lloyd Pack never laughed on set. On one outake he came close to hit but squinted his eyes, gained his composure and said ''Problems Dave?'' which caused Nicholas Lyndhurst to laugh. I don't think i could have kept a straight face after Triggers one liners either.
@@jaggass how he did it was brilliant i would have been on the floor laughing and that scene 😆
They had to go through the takes over again till they cudnt laugh anymore
@@jaggass I don't think I could have either.....just watching only fools n horses was a big event in my mums house and always had me n my bros in stitches .
You said it was open 24/7, yeah but not at night. Brilliant writing and even better acting, what a talent.
24/7 wasn't said...
The amount of times I've pissed myself in laughter at trigger thanks for the memories trig
Sometimes the scene will start and I'm already pissing myself because I know what's coming, it never gets old
@@mattinfullvision9598 just AWESOME
the scene where he is talking about going on holiday and the woman at work got jealous that final line "turns out she wanted to come with me" that stunned look on everyone's face followed by allan's " ill have a large scotch mike" pure genius
@@dylanhopwood3773 that's a classic one, my favourite one of Triggers
Trigger is hilarious. RIP Roger Lloyd Pack.
1 word........LEGEND......I need say no more......RIP ROGER... thanks for the laughter you gave us
He ent dead lives next door to me
@@mickholdin123 Which cemetery?
@@mickholdin123 bullshit😂
@@mickholdin123 That would be impressive considering like Rodger his father is no longer with us
And best supporting actor Oscar goes to..... Trigger. You live on in our hearts Trig. RIP Roger.
It takes a genius to play an idiot ! Great actor ! God rest his soul 😔😔😔
Yeah. See the last 4 years in the US. 😂
Not sure about that MP’s do it every day 🤡!
I dont know some people do it naturally. but I must say Roger Lloyd Pack was hilarious as trig and I could watch him time after time and still laugh my self silly
@@johnsabini3351 They're not playing idiots, they are idiots!

The broom scene one of the funniest bit of tv ever
Its also a huge physiological question, regarding how much does one retain if everything has been changed. Ghost in a Shell is a good example.
It turned in an actual figure of speech lol
It's funny but it's a 4,000 year old joke.
Done in Open all hours first, though this is funnier. John Sullivan had a habit of using old jokes.
My absolute favourite is “it’s the karaoke version”
This man was God's gift to us in the form of comedy!!!
Trigger was priceless 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I can laugh at him before he even speaks, he was a comic genius without doubt.
Most definitely. He could just change his faceshal expression . And that in its self was anoth to make u laugh
“They’re naming him Rodney.... after Dave”
You got a hat now, have you Dave?
@@davidoftheglen3447 I had a hat once, someone nicked it
@@mattinfullvision9598 at a party

“I lost my dolphin!” 😂
Another one thats underrated is when Trigger starts laughing about some wigs the Trotters are flogging in the Nags head, Del's like what are you laughing at, then Trigger says "I don't know" 😂
"You put a bit of music on, Dave" "It's a Karaoke version"
Rest in Peace, Roger Lloyd Pack; made so many people laugh with his one-liners.
True
You got a hat now then have you Dave?
"Trigger": "Ain't this coach fitted with a fire distinguisher" ?.
Not only the funny lines fro trigger, but I love the expressions on the other cast members’ faces, great stuff.
Damn! Roger-Lloyd Pack was a genius!! John Sullivan wrote brilliantly, while he acted brilliantly! 😂😂😂😂📝🎭🎬🐴🔫
Some TV characters become Legends. Roger Lloyd Pack was one.
Even though I was born in 1992, Trigger remains one if my all time favourite comedy characters. RIP Roger Lloyd Pack, you were a phenomenal actor who made Trigger!! 👏👍
If ever there was a part written for a specific actor, this was it, the guy had the most brilliant comic timing and such a great dead pan face. We still laugh at Triggers clips even though we have seen them many times.
I know someone who is exactly like Trigger. When I first met this man I said I would give him a lift home, as I was driving along I said "So where about's do you live? Which way should I go?" and he said "I'll tell you when we get closer"...
That would be a typical Trigger thing to say
🤣🤣🤣
That sounds just like Trigger!
Steals every scene he's in. 🤩
Every time I watch Only Fools and I know Trigger's in a scene I already know I'll be pissing myself laughing by the end of the scene, sometimes I'm already pissing myself because I know exactly what's coming
There must be piss puddles all round you 🤪
@@petermullaney6438 😂
He does not have many lines overall but you remember him more than anyone!
3 minutes is no where near enough to summarise Trigger's one liners!
He deliverd his lines with perfect timing & execusion...... legend
absolutely brilliant!
DEL: You said it was open 24 hrs a day ? TRIG: Yeah but not at night 🤣 gold!!!
RIP roger you were a bloody talented legend. They dont make them like you anymore.
Everyone loves trigger
Leighton Jones think he was on about ronnie kray
Thank you John, for great scrips, thank you Roger, R.I.P. You Were the best, and all the cast, who brought , a smile in to our lives.
Trig: Still could have been worse Del!
Mike: How?
Trig: My gran had one with a squeaky wheel.
Trigger made the Dave joke funny, every time he said it, he did it so well decades after the show finished its still funny, it makes you laugh every time you hear it, comedy genius.
Who can watch these clips 1,000 times and howl with laughter like it's the first time watching. Roger was an absolute legend and his comedy timing was always perfect. Great comedy actor but also a great serious actor. My ex worked at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and said she seen Roger do some amazing acting on stage. He is sadly missed but his comedy will live on as long as people can see clips like this and rerun's on the TV.
trigger's broom is priceless
The broom sketch is one of the funniest I’ve ever heard
Best ever was drink up were leaving your cramping my style mate your cramping my style
Triggers reaction is priceless
Brilliant and Trigger was brilliant
I absolutely love Trig to bits... He's so funny, and one of the best actors in Only Fools in my opinion #Trig #Yeahbutnotatnight
I've been in tears of laughter watching Trig... He's such a lovable guy.
You can not, let me repeat, can not beat British comedy. The delivery, the mannerisms, just everything is so on point!
ABSOLUTE QUALITY.....R.I.P. ROGER
He makes me laugh just looking at him knowing he’s going to say something hilarious, RIP
You knew when Trigger popped up, you were going to laugh.
He did always have a strange taste in women ....In what way? ......well they were men!!!🤣🤣🤣
Yeah!, I still think that was one of the best lines.
And just after he says that, Denzil mutters darkly "Aye, I remember Ronnie", anyone else wondering if he made a pass at denzil back in the day? 😂😂
@@sarahbrightmore3749 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@angelkotilainen Yeah I thought that too!!
Was "Trigger" related to the Kray brothers, when he mentioned, his cousin, Ronnie ?.
"Alright dave" never gets old
"I didn't know you had a hat,Dave?Hilarious!
"You got a hat now then have ya Dave?"
I'm glad I was around to have witnessed OFAH. Probably the best comedy show of all time!
The beatles manager loool
Trigger is the best character in this series.
Who on earth can possibly give a thumbs down to this...? 😂😂
Trigger and Boycie is actually the funniest in my opinion
I can't believe the coach scene wasn't in this
Trigger: "Hasn't this coach got a fire distinguisher?"
Trigger's scene stealing moments just like never get old tho !
You forget just how funny Fools and Horses was. Brilliant British comedy!!😂😂😂🇬🇧
Jolly Boys Outing 1989 - "What do you think's wrong with him? What do I think... Well snow blindness would be my bet, Trigg! Yeah? I thought he was pissed".
"Can you honestly imagine Del standing there cutting up all them sandwiches, he probably got some idiot to do them"
Trigger "no I made em"
“Still, coulda been worse, Del.”
“How?”
“My Gran had one with a squeaky wheel”
"Trigg if the police ain't looking for them why did you hide them under the table"......"cause ya never know when their gonna start looking for them"😂😂😂😂
He was just genius.. All done in deadpan quality.. Very hard to do.. 🤣 Sadly missed is Roger....
You got a hat now then ave ya Dave?
Ramos international hit man in the professionals they thought they finished him but no all along he's been living in Peckham as street sweeper thats why he's really called TRIGGER .
"he did always have a strange taste in women"
"they were men" best line
You got a hat then have you Dave 🤣🤣🤣🤣 literally know everything line he’s done and I never get bored still crack me up now
I had a hat once, someone nicked it at a party. Had my return ticket in the brim, I had to walk all the way home from Plumstead
The 'squeaky wheel' broke me LOL
"Yeah, it had my return ticket in the brim"..
For some reason, this line always cracks me up!!🤣
Great actor RIP great writing ..this show should be in a museum of Great British inventions !
His off-beat humour was a perfect complement to the rest of the genius comedy in OFAH.
Best character in the series. Comedy gold ❤️
He was absolutely hilarious and absolutely brilliantly played by Roger lloyd pack absolute genius actor portraying trigger (if it's a girl their naming her sigourny after an actress and if it's a boy Thier naming him Rodney after Dave 😂😂😂😂😂) I just can't 😂😂😂 I howled at that 😂😂😂
Trigger made it what it was ,his timing and comedic genius was perfect
His delivery was fabulous and sadly very under-appreciated - IMHO.
17 new heads and 14 new handles 😂😂😂
“How the hell can it be the same bloody broom then?” 😂🤣
@@coconutwarrior9015 well here's a picture of it, what more do you want?
I suppose it occupies the same space!
2:33 classic Sullivan line
'If it's a girl they are going to name it Sigourney after an actress, if its a boy they are going to call it Rodney, after Dave'
Thanks for posting this... I'm in tears 😂😂😂😂😂😂
His Ghandi speech was the best.
I read once that if you wrote all of Trigger's lines down on paper, it would only come to two pages. Yet every line was a belter. RIP Roger Lloyd Pack.
An under-rated genius.
What a scream, with only fools and horses,I wouldn’t need any other comedy again ever, funniest comedy by 100 miles, funny all the time.
Hilarious, I still laugh everytime I watch it. Love the broom one.
He' s so missed. RIP Roger
"the broom" legendary
One of the most loved comedies ever, shame it had to end
Trigger is the Grandfather of the CZcams algorithm.
Such classics. Don’t make them now like they use too
Trigger is probably the funniest character.
RIP legend
Trigger's Broom of Theseus
I actually got told by numerous people I remind them of trigger. Not 100% sure I feel about that but eh, at least I make people laugh hahaha.
I even had my own dave moment. I had a good friend called Liam, spoke to him on a daily basis. I'd say about 6 months after I met him, he told me his name was Jack. Looked really annoyed about it too so I took him at his word. I DID call him Jack afterwards though. Should have kept calling him Liam for a laugh.
Trigger was my favourite character, the broom episode was pure genius.
Rest in peace trigger you legend
TRIGER ,GOD BLESS HIM.
Jeremy Beadle line is still my favourite...
'' look after your broom ''
Just one word to describe Trigger, BRILLIANT!
You cant park there dave 😂😂
"Yeah but not at night" best line from trigger.
14 heads and 17 handles, and maintains it's still the original broom.
I'm going out on a limb here and stating he is obviously an employee of the government.
Priceless!
You just gotta love Trigger 😂
Sitting here high as hell on edibles giggling my arse off
This broom award lol 😂
Top actor & comedy legend trigger
RIP ROGER LLOYD-PACK
