History nerd moment! While Jonathan Groff is known as a bit of a spitter when he sings, he cranked it up to 11 with this performance because George III went a bit mad during his reign, and was known to damn near foam at the mouth when he got upset.
That was also why he chose to stare uncomfortably in one place for long moments throughout the song.
That’s literally my favourite part about his performance/role. You get to slowly watch him lose his mind more and more. He only has 3 songs but each time he appears it’s like he unravels more and more until he’s fully wild in The Reynolds Pamphlet.

They also said he couldn’t wipe it off because his wardrobe was heavy especially his crown, given he was trying to give a disturbed still stood performance touching his lip would have threw it off, especially through all that gear.
You’ll Be Back is my favorite song from Hamilton lmao. He’s so great at playing an insane king, the dead eyes and spitting were just perfect character choices.
The spitting isn’t entirely a character choice. Apparently the actor is just very… juicy when singing 😂
That last verse he does so wooden, like a puppet. He plays mad George SO well. He doesn't blink ONCE
King George slowly started to lose his mind so as the songs went on, Johnathan slowly started to drool more on purpose to show the deterioration.
A Winter’s Ball, Helpless, and Satisfied should be watched together. They are songs that all work together in the play.

This song made me laugh so hard the first time I heard it. The reference to going mad and the fact that it's almost an abuser's perspective from an abusive relationship.

Yes, that will keep you on track. You could add A Winter's Ball to those 3 too, because it's super short and goes with Helpless and Satisfied thematically. Every other song you can do individually.

Helpless is at 30:43 and satisfied comes right after it.

The best way for you would be to watch the whole movie from start to end in one take and record your whole reaction, then upload edited bits of individual songs to CZcams. That would be much easier.

These reactions are monetized, I'm assuming. Doesn't seem like too much to ask to subscribe to Disney Plus for a month and react to the original staged production, my guy.
They are monitozed, but they only make me a few cents, even my videos with multi thousands of views only make a couple dollar. I do have Disney plus I just figured it would be fun for everyone to come back every few days to pick up where we left off, opposed to one long reaction. Right now my channel hardly generates any income, everything I upload right now is to try and build a community, that’s why I try and upload 2-4 videos per day.
@@SalvoG Sure, sure I get it. Since you have Disney+ anyway, you can use that as reference video. Or at least the animatics that are on CZcams, rather than blatantly using some ripoff footage that doesn't look or sound good. Good luck
