    That's actually useful! I do have a question...
    Is there a way to record the whole midi notes and then edit each individual articulation? Like let's say you're done and while mixing you realize "this note could use a staccato sound", can you edit that or would you have to delete and re record with the new articulation?

      Not sure but if you could just set up a new track with that particular articulation and put that note or notes on the next track.

      Yes you can. That's what is really useful. Just record the notes then make them realistic with articulations and modulation, expression etc.

      Actually it's not hugely intuitive so in case you're wondering how, you choose the relevant articulation set in the Inspector for the track concerned, then in the piano roll an articulations drop down appears. Just highlight the note you want to change and select the articulation from the dropdown. Very simple but not obvious as from the instrument interface at all.
