    Dutch police try to deal with bike theft problems - by impounding unlocked bikes.
    SV Dutch working people coming towards camera on bicycles. CU Traffic policeman. CU Bikes coming towards camera. CU Traffic lights, they change from red to green. SV Bikes coming towards camera. SV Cyclists going past camera. SV Man wheeling his bike towards a park at a station. CU The park attendant takes bike from man and wheels it into a shed. LV Park attendant lifting bike to put it on rack where there are numerous other cycles. CU Park attendant putting bike in rack. CU Sign being put up reading "Vol C. Station" - Meaning the Bike Park is full.
    GV Police van coming towards camera and starts to go over camera. SV Police van pulling up outside tenements and a policeman gets out and walks towards a bike which is outside one of the houses. CU The policeman taking the bike. CU Policeman lifting the bike into the back of the van. CU Driver of van shutting door and van begins to move off. SV Man leaving his bike in open space where many others are parked. He walks out of picture. Most of the bikes disappear, and then the rest of them disappear, leaving an empty space. SV Policeman lifting bike into back of van. CU Numerous bikes in a police compound, pan up to show van backing into the compound. CU Man getting into back of van and lifting bikes out. GV Pan: hundreds of bikes in the police compound with man wheeling others from the van to be stored. CU Youth looking at bicycles trying to find his. GV Woman wheeling bike towards camera which she has obviously just recovered.

    Thanks for posting this about the bicycle problem in my country. Not much has changed these last 50 years. The problem still remains.
