- Ruskington, Lincolnshire.
M/S of Jim Foster, wheeling a four-seater bicycle with a small trailer attached out of a driveway and onto the road outside his house. His wife, Margaret, and daughter appear and put two toddlers, Lynne and Julie, into the trailer.
Jim, Margaret, son Dennis and daughter Christine then get on the four-seater and pedal off; an older daughter, Janet, and son, David, ride a tandem bike with another toddler, Shirley, in a sidecar attached; another daughter, Susan, follows on a regular bike. All are in shorts.
Various shots of the family cycling along roads, including C/U of four pairs of feet in shoes and socks pedalling fast (only the young daughter wears plimsolls - the rest wear normal shoes). They all cycle past a sign pointing to Skegness (in the opposite direction).
Jim takes a swig from a bottle, then hands it back along the line so all the family get a drink.
Good illustration of a slightly quirky family going on holiday.
Note: on file are three news cuttings about the Foster family and their bicycles.

Hard workers who had jobs and grew most of their own fruit and vegetables. Proud to be their grandchild.
@@hiltonvg You have every right to be proud of them . Decent people who formed the backbone of a once great nation . Sadly some people in the modern world judge other's by their own standards .
Out of work actors.
