Wondering how I get it to turn off at night

I want to get this for my mom. Can I set it up at my house with my wifi then take to hers or must it be set up under her wifi connection?

Yes!! Absolutely. That is what I did with my mom’s skylight. You can even make some settings changing remotely from your app if you’re the owner of the account. She will still have all the necessary access as well
