- Sears bandsaw still works and will show you the steps to change a blade. It's the same procedure for other band saws as well,

My adjustment screw that moves the blade to the front or back of the top wheel will not turn alowing the blade to slide off. Would you agree the wheel needs to come off and fix it so the screw will move?
I'm considering Shiming the set point to fit 1/2" blade.
Sounds to me the wheel needs to be removed and probably get the cam to loosen up to move again.
Enjoyed watching and have a question……purchased a older craftsman 12 band saw needs a new blade, what size do you recommend
80" blade is the only blade to fit this saw, be sure to get wood blade for wood and metal blade for metal. As far as cutting lumber 1/2" blade is for straight and large curves; 1/4" blade is for smaller curves and not a good blade for straight, but you could prove me wrong. Which ever you purchase buy several of the same because as your going to find out it's a hassle going from 14" to 1/2" set up. Look for 80" blades on eBay they seem to have the best price . Thanks for watching and have a great day
Thank you for your time and advice……was very helpful
Holy chest hair
🤣
Exact model I have. My blade will not sufficiently tighten????
Does it have the rubber tire on both wheels?
Make sure the blade is 80 inches
