@@robertoibarra8992 yeah, Ben has very much been hardened by his experiences, and I will admit he does have empathy I guess I was more so trying to say he was being too stubborn and selfish by not listening to his family when they tried to warn him about Lola’s timeline and didn’t focus on what Lola would’ve wanted. Whereas Lexi knew there wasn’t a chance and spent that time with her mum and being there for jay when he needed it despite literally being a child.
I'm glad someone got Lexi and Ben to hug. Sometimes it takes someone that's not family to get through to someone even if there little or stubborn like Ben and Lexi
What a lot of people don’t know is Max Bowden asked not to be written into Lola’s final episode as he lost his best friend to the same tumour and it would have been hard for him to film those scenes with that in his mind.
George is a miracle worker! I love how got through to Lexi about being mad at Ben and missing Lola @1:05. And while I love Ben’s apology and Max Bowden’s acting @1:20, I find it hard to believe he’s gonna keep his promise. Jay’s probably gonna have to be the one make sure poor, little Lex can carry on with her life, bless her. I feel awful for her. 😢😢😢💔
I believe he’s up to something but playing it off for a while, I reckon he’s the reason someone’s killed at Christmas. Playing mr innocent and hero right now to gain people’s respect but will eventually show his true colours. Clever man
Lexi needs her dad more than ever now her mummy is gone. Ben's the only surviving parent Lexi has now. Plus Ben has his mum Kathy Beale and his dad Phil Mitchell plus his husband Callum who's Lexi's other dad. Plus Lexi has not only her daddy but her pops Billy too, cousins Will and Janet Mitchell plus Honey Mitchell too. Lexi surrounded by alot who love her and care about her. But it's her daddy Ben she will need more than stepdad Jay Brown. Jay's only Lexi's stepdad and hasn't legally adopted Lexi yet and I don't think Jay will adopt Lexi now. Because don't forget Ben is Lexi's dad not Jay. And another thing Lexi has Beale,Pearce and Mitchell blood flowing through her veins and Beale, Pearce and Mitchell is in Lexi's DNA. Jay's not even related to the Mitchells. Actually he's not legally a Mitchell. Phil took Jay on after Jay's own father died.

This guy made his own decision, a coward's decision, run away. In the end, this guy didn't do what he could do well: 1. Being a "brother" to Jay and helping him. He didn't want to because of his jealousy. 2. Being a father to Lexi. He didn't even care what Lexi thought when he left. 3. Being there for Lola. He ran away, like a coward, like he always does. This guy is useless, and even treatment can help him. He turned out cowardly, useless and a nuisance. Up to this point, I don't care about this guy anymore. Let him solve his problems elsewhere. Maybe educate urself. Ben didn’t run away, he went to America to try and get some medication to allow Lola to live a few more month. Even though he and everyone else knew it wasn’t gonna work he still did it as he is in denial (which is a big part of grief) grief makes people do regretful things, for example, Billy getting easily wound up and ending up behind bars, jay taking his anger out on Lexi etc. Ben was going to America not to just lengthen Lola’s life but to also keep his and Lola’s promise to Lexi that Lola will see her first day of secondary school. Ben had no intentions of letting anyone down, he was just tryna help. Also jay hasn’t made himself the easiest kinda person for Ben to pass support to, it’s like he’s jealous of Ben being Lexis dad and constantly pushing his buttons to wound him up. Jays lovely to Lexi but not Ben & Callum, he needs to grow up and learn how to deal with his late wife’s baby daddy otherwise this is all gonna reach Lexi and emotionally effect her
