Well done, and the info is almost exactly what I had to do! My 2006 Boxster S has been so much fun to own and drive, especially top downtown 24 7, year round! Aloha from Hawaii!

The slow crank can be a result of a corroded connector from the battery to the power distribution block (which sits behind the front firewall, inside the cabin)

Excellent video, everything spot on. Overall they make an excellent enthusiast sports car and get a lot of positive attention. I do get tailgated by hatchback drivers for some reason. My number one recommendation is buy from a specialist who will support you. My only problem in one year has been loose exhaust manifold bolts, fixed quite cheaply and easy. They drive beautifully and are one of the best handling cars around and sound amazing. Nothing better on a sunny day! Do your research, avoid really cheap cars, highly recommended!

Thanks for watching Chris. Sound advise there. My next porsche I will 100% be looking to buy from a specialist. I'm not sure when that will be because the 987 boxster is perfect for me.

I also get tail gated alot! Some want to entice me into a race, but most want to check out my car to give me a shaka sign or thumbs up! I enjoy that attention from kids and sometimes their mommy's give me the biggest smiles! But the best is cruising down Waikiki beach and the bikinis are getting so much smaller every day! Can't keep my eyes on the road. Aloha from Hawaii!

Good video. A few things. Unfortunately, the amount of play doesn't really relate to the cable condition. Secondly, with Boxsters and Caymans the exhaust goes into a single pipe before then being split into to outlet pipes on an S model (or a base with dual tips). So you're never only going to get one soiled exhaust tip. It will always be both. The single exhaust tip thin only applies to the 911 where the exhausts don't join. Finally, the 3.4 987 Boxster also suffers from scoring.

great video! regarding the puff of smoke at startup, do you think it could also be due to a failed secondary air pump?

Thanks for watching. It could be. There are so many reasons for smoke on a flat 6 could be best to find a specialist to check it over first.

@@willbehindthecameraby the way, also noticed that your roof has the same markings as mine. Does the mechanism inside sort of scratch it? And any way to restore the soft top?

Excellent video looking to buy one in the uk what miles do you think I should look for

I would say it might be better to look at a higher milage car that has had some work done to it. I think around 60-70k miles might have quiet a bit to be done. Maybe look for one that has been constantly used and not just parked up as the owner will keep up with maintanence. Good Luck on your purchase!
