How is it possible that this band just keeps getting better with each passing decade ???!!!###
I also ask why they don’t draw the same amount of attention and crowds like DM or DD? The Fixx is equally at good as both so I don’t understand why more fans haven’t latched onto them. Although I admit, I love that the Fixx can play in more intimate settings and are way more involved with their fans without having to pay $350 or more for a back stage pass.
@Tjs964 They recently performed here at The Norva/ a really nice converted theatre venue in Norfolk,VA/ tickets were $20 !!!###

They have been forgotten for some reason. The last intact 80s band.

I'm 54. Im a musician. I defy anyone to hear a renowned band thats been around for nearly 40 years that sound this fresh & polished.. Incredible! What great songs with the musicians to boot!

1983 when I discovered the Fixx as a 15 year old playing soccer in Florida on an English football tour. Played shuttered room until it nearly wore out and bought and played everything they ever made since. Good on you boys 🇬🇧

That guitar 🎸 break during Red Skies is brilliant! 😮They sound modern now and before they sounded futuristic. They were ahead of their time.

I was 15, listening to this album in Dortmund Germany, and it blew me off the map. How the hell did this group finish Shuttered Room with this most existential track? Damn The Fixx... they've been the aesthetic centerpiece of my life (and many others).

Saw this show on Houston. Really enjoyed it.
Jamie's solo on "Deeper and Deeper" from the 1989 MTV Daytona Spring Break show is still one of my all-time favorites to this day. It just kills! The power chords at the end of the solo are iconic, and gives goosebumps every time!

Saw them a few days before this in Austin (and saw them last year here too) -- such a great show! They played longer than their set here, and did a lot of their newer stuff, which I loved because their newer albums are fantastic. Only taste of that you get here is Wake Up, which is a great song

The Fix are like U2 or like Tears for Fears they all are still alive and can still all play as original band members. AND are forever a tight playing band from day one. Cy has never had dance moves but he's interesting at best during his singing. lol

I think you are wrong because The Fixx looks so young in 1988. By the basis of their looks and the way they play, this concert was probably during year 2008.

I hate when bands play a hit song and the singer lets the crowd sing the chorus without singing it too
only happens with great songs and great bands
I saw what you are talking about at the recent concerts of Suade and Bon Jovi. My observation to the causes to this is the singer can no longer hits the high notes so he let's the audience sing without him singing along with the audience.
His voice sounds great,but it does not sound like the same songs, the music is so different. The drummer also sucks
that's the original drummer I'm pretty sure. Remember the band is not Megadeth and doesn't need to drum that way
