  • It is celebrated on 14th November every year, it is used to create awareness within the public as Diabetes has become more common within developed countries. The main goal of creating this awareness is because the disease of 'Diabetes Mellitus' affects the general public, across nearly all age groups. Diabetes can change someone's lifestyle as their body becomes affected and they become limited to certain foods in their diet (mainly sugars).
