    Perfect truck but I wish Toyota would have included the previous gen SR5 features like auto climate and rear sliding window, power seats and leather wrapped steering wheel. Also looks like the auto dimming rear view mirror is gone too☹️

      Yeah hey! They’ve stepped up even the entry level quite a bit.. I’ll post a few more soon (the Premium packages have cooled seats now!)

    2024 Tacoma 18.2 gas tank vs 3rd gen with 21.1 gallons, and almost the same MPGs…still no shock hood struts..note my 2001 Toyota Camry had gas struts…
    Just happen one owner purchase brand new add a two inch lift..on the way home ,engine blew up ( pistons)…be careful…

    Like the underground blackish color and "not chromey". Will there also be a re-design Tundra ?

      Not for a while I’d say they just re designed it for 2022.

      Yeah it will be a while! Typically they redesign about every 5 years. I also prefer a bit less chrome unless it’s on an older truck 😎

    How much is your dealership marking up over the MSRP?

    • @tracksandtrees
      @tracksandtrees  Před 2 měsíci

      We aren’t marking up at all! 😊 we want our clients to stay happy and have repeat business in the future, not a sour taste in their mouth’s being taken advantage of just because of shortage in supply. Happy to work here where we can feel good about what we do and how we operate

      @@tracksandtrees That is awesome. I've heard of dealers marking them up $15,000-$20,000.

    How much is the one?

    • @tracksandtrees

      In BC it is currently $50,002.50 CAD after fees - plus tax (12% here)

    You are way prettier than the truck

    I think Toyota addressed many of problem areas of the prior gen but this Mexican made truck is overpriced in the Segment by 5K USD for SR5 and offroad trims and on the higher TRD Pro trim is over 10K more then the ZR2 or Raptor. Their labor costs are 10 percent of what it cost to build in the USA. The trucks have a ton of hard plastics and there are already quality issues. The Tundra already has serious issues with BQ and engine failures. And its not selling well at all. I can see the same happening to the Tacoma. Better off buying the Japanese made 4 runner.
