I use blowtorch it's easy to use and convenient. You can buy it online only if you are allowed to buy spirit to blow it up because in some states it is not allowed to sell spirit to students for security reasons
Okay that's an interesting question. Yes you can carve it without adding extra wax, it's optional if you have enough wax to carve then no need to add extra wax. Also to shine your rim/carving heat the wax very gentle and very little and immediately put it in the water then you will see the magic
See you don't need extra wax everytime, you can carve out without using extra wax but make sure there is enough wax already when you make the occlusion rims

If somehow bubbles got trapped inside you can use any hot instrument like wax knife and just put over the place where bubble is and then fill it with wax drop by drop
currently in the dental lab major and festooning is one of the hardest things to do for me😭 this help me out a bit

Can't we carve without adding extra wax... Bcz when I add it ruins my old nicely shined rim and looks very pathetic pls suggest?
