This one is great because its a traveling location between need zones, so hunting pressure doesn't play as big of a factor! Sound recordings compress the audio, making it sound different than real life.
I picked up the game a couple weeks ago, happened across this spot and started working it more as I learned. There's always animals travelling through, no matter how much you blow it up with hunting pressure; its nuts. I thought maybe it was just the way my herds were working in just my game, but your video clarified that it is very much a thing.
I had seen the area glossed over on a couple hotspot videos, but they didn't highlight the importance of being the most used land bridge as well as you did focusing on the one spot. Thanks for the video and confirming my suspicion that it's a gold mine.

Just wanted to let you know this video was the reason i bought the tripod dlc, and i'm glad to say i'm not regretting it one bit, this spot is still awesome to this day, just tried it out, sat there for about 1 hour just killing them all, made so much money it's unreal. Thanks!

I went down here day one of this update, not to put up a stand" I did later" but I was looking for elk and it didn't disappoint me I got a albino I shot him, then I looked to my left about 10 seconds after and I saw a level 5 elk, it was a 996 with a truscore of 337

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong I use a bow I am on the tripod but there are no animal from 17-19

Thank you so much for this tip!! I've been playing this game for about 2 months now. I've killed more animals in the last 3 hours than I have in the last 2 months. I usually end up tracking an animal that I can never find or I get too close and scare it. Now I can kill 3-4 animals at a time out of my tripod stand. Thanks!!!

Mmm, I think it’s a lot more similar to using a rifle (in game) and you’ll be able to use a scope- which is nice. But, slower reload speed. So advantages and disadvantages.
I’m not finding any animals? Am I doing something wrong.. I put a tripod and my guess is the tent is not needed
The tent isn’t entirely needed- but makes it easier to reach. Try around 6am

Hello! I have a diamond quality water buffalo that scored in the 940's because of a 98% quick kill (i think) and just level 8's for cape buffalo for the moment! :) What about you?

I can’t find the need zones
Hey there, Brady! There should be a variety of need zones in that area- mostly drink zones. I would head there in the early morning and see if elk line the shore- and if you have a tent set up and sleep from another time (afternoon, evening) you should see other animals traveling along that land bridge to get to the other side- which will give you an opportunity for a shot. 😉
BZHub I only have the weapon pack weapons I don’t have great weapons now but thank you anyway I love this spot any ways because I shot my first diamond in this spot just today day an elk I find female elk but haven’t seen a lot of male and it’s my first day using it

Hey, Brady! Nice chatting with you! No spots for tree stands at the moment- they're setups are kind of limiting in comparison to the tripods. But- I do like the nostalgia of tree stands. Congrats on the Diamond Elk, though! :)

I sat in this spot for 30 minutes real time and didn’t see one animal except female moose drinking 200 meters away?
Well, couple of things could be an issue- either you were hunting at a time that wasn’t good for the majority of animals, or you have already destroyed the need zones around there, so the animals have moved elsewhere. Try hunting at 6am, or looking to see if there are needzones around there and then change the time for them.
