Thank you, I've watched SO many guides and I've come to realize exactly what you've said.. just because it works for you doesn't mean it will be the same for me. I struggled with whitetail before the great one, before 2.0 scoring for the past year I've been playing.. I've been grinding drink times and still have issues. I joke and say I have 40 whitetail and 1 million blacktail on my map 🙄 thanks for the guide either way it's always helpful!

I’m the same. Everyone else gets crazy white tail spawns around Ronachee but mine are all either hiding or don’t exist lol
Whitetail have been my bane ,just couldn't seem to find them so thanks for this guide ,haven't got a diamond yet but have got a couple of golds and a silver piebald :D

I have to thank you very much I went up in that area for Whitetail and found a lot of moose got 2 gold and then got my first diamond Moose over 1300 lbs he in my lodge scored a 296

I've found the southern shoreline of Layton to be infested with rabbits. Recently taken an albino and a diamond bunny down there.
I picked up a diamond elk following this guide
any bonus diamond is a bonus .

Thx mate,Ik im late but I just shot my first diamond it was a moose I even got it on a record thx so much again. I also saw a level 3 white tail and I had a recurve now and it was like 30 yards and I shot over it and missed but still killed a heck of a moose.

Secrete location..?....I once had a tent there..I rapid traveled in and the noise stampeded a bunch of white tail which were standing around the tent..they took off to the end of the little point then turned and came back again and again ...I'm trying to get a shot...any shot...all at once a doe ran strait into the door of the tent and became stuck inside the tent...I just gave up and took photos...wish I could post one here...but trust me I know that spot for sure.. they trampled me almost to death
I shot a 275 Whitetail yesterday
Ron, I can’t find ANY whitetail at all. I tried half of the places and NONE. Is it because I’m on Xbox or something
dunno but basically start 12 midday and check all water areas and around water upto about 100m around it either in land or round lakes and ponds until about 4pm. you will have whitetail its just a case of finding them.

A very useful video but since the repop a while back and no two maps are alike whitetail on my map diamond dont exist as i have spent over 1000 hours on layton lake with tents and stands in all zones to no evail.I have shot over 90 level 2 no diamonds.I did put on the official discord and was told to do a repop on my map myself what a joke.
many points are simular. thats why i shown the ones in the video and as you will see in the comments many people have had diamond and rare whitetails from those spots. the whitetail are there on your map you just have to find them. when a zone goes they move somewhere else. you have to check the whole map. often in places you wont think of . this especially once you shot a lot. good luck with the diamond whitetail stick at it you will get one.

Ron please can you tell me at what times Whitetails are at South Lake? I need to do the #26 Doc mission there and it says to kill a Whitetail at South Lake within 30 meters but I can't find any Whitetail there, at which time should I go there and where should I specifically search in that area???
whitetails generally are near water between 1 - 3 ish 2pm being the sweet spot.

I’ve found different systems have different spawns locations and rates in my PlayStation I can’t find wildebeest and on my Xbox I can and so can my uncle who has an Xbox in the same spot

Make a video on how to catch ur prey after you have shot it and it runs away because theres not one video that does that and after I shoot my animal I can't catch the bastard if I'm crouching and walking I'm to slow if i run I'm to loud I feel like there is no medium because on the way u will get warning calls making ur prey run for longer and further after hearing it

I haven’t been able to find a single whitetail at any of these locations over the past 3 days irl. I’ve looked everywhere multiple times at the right time of day and there’s absolutely nothing anywhere nearby. No big herds. No need zones. Not even a single lone whitetail. I’m convinced my spawns are broken. Someone help me please
time are very important when you visit these places also after the latest patch update whitetails travel constantly during drinking times. so ...12 - 3 pm check drinking times but as i have found starting around 2 30 then checking you find a lot more whitetail. this may change again.

Edit: Around 3 30pm I spotted a small group of whitetail in the brush along the river. They were just traveling up the side of the river. I haven’t really discovered any whitetail drink zones yet so I just look in the locations specified in this video
@@benfackrell1799 its really tricky at drinking times and you just have to keep visiting the need zones in between the given periods for each one. so drink times 12 - 3. the problem is in the recent update the whitetails are constantly travelling during this time. which is why many people are struggling to find them.

I have done what was suggested in this video. I still cannot find any whitetail. I hunt them during their drinking time. Anyone have any other tips? Im a level 20. I haven't gotten a diamond yet.
dont push yourself to i must get a diamond. just enjoy the game and the diamonds will come. often as you get your first one and understand the game they seem to come easier. 1 30 pm - 3 pm is perfect for finding whitetail.
I’m going to try this on my PlayStation my Xbox dosnt have a good whitetail population in some spots but my PlayStation will destroy in these so wish me luck

the best beginner tip is dont feel pressured to go after diamonds . start out have fun kill anything and get money. then after a while start to progress.

the areas have changed a lot so now its mostly the left river and in the middle where the river forks to the right.
