That was pure crazy that the front door was just left unlocked. Every corridor you turned down & every door you opened, i kept expecting there to be a 6ft security guard with his dog on the other side. Crazy find mate 👍🏻
Great video but you shouldn't of given the location/name of place away, hopefully no vandals get a hold of this but it's a great place I went a few weeks back but I thought it had security now haha
We were due to have our wedding reception there but then the first lockdown happened, then the venue went bust. So not to be. It had been doing badly for years. The staff said the Chinese room is the haunted room apparently! In the end we found a new venue for this year…. 2 years later. This place is proving hard to sell as no one interested but it has been used as a filming location recently. Edd
Some lnside knowledge about this place, I worked there about 10 years ago, kitchen work, it was owned by an Andrew Davies who owned Von Essen, it was running out of money fast when I was there, we had meetings with Andrew Davies explaining we had to push on yet payday got later and later. He was often coming too Ston with an Italian toy boy - Andrew was a deranged coke head. The manager when I left was called mark, he was cheating on his wife, at the time, with a fat old worker there. He never paid me my final check. I’ll be honest the place deserved to fail, they screwed me over. I didn’t see you go down to the basement or to the outhouse. When you went out the back kitchen door the outhouse is past the steps on the right - the smoking area was the old stables to the left. I’m glad the place failed, it deserved it, most the workers were liars. I should probably go and have all them copper pans in the basement “old kitchen” unless someone else has had them away. If you go out the gates, turn left and follow the road, there’s a church, then a turning left, go past that and the first house on your left is the staff house - been fucked up many a time in these two locations 😂
Why are all the lights on going to be huge bill for some one because there must be a owner some where. It just dont make sence at all, then there was the wine glass and stuff on the beds waiting for people to go to bed. Are you sure no one lives there and was out or away for the night ?
Nope place is empty with noone there, many others have confirmed this. People have been going and just staying the night arandom naked guy was found there just chilling lol. You would be suprised that power is on still in many abandoned places
@@BeardedReality yeah 100%. Land is at an all time premium and these places are just left to rot! Somebody has equity in these places, why not move them on if you have no interest in them any more. Doesnt make sense to me 🤷🏼♂️
It not left to rot. It's used as a film location until it sells. Some idiot just left the door unlocked. Hopefully they get security on site now the tabloids have told the world.
A lot of other explorers have been here before and after me to see the place in the same state with no one around, I know potentially a company was gonna get involved to secure the place but not sure if that is true yet however very much left
