Hi. Does the "chromatic" mode mean that it can detect all notes, even let's say a B♭? I play the trumpet and I'm wondering if that could work on trumpets too (as it makes vibrations when playing a sound like guitars). Thanks!
Yes it can Detect. As long as your tuner is attach to your trumpet. I do even try to put on my throat and voice out and it does respond to my voice
@@genesismusic5741 Great! I’ll give it a try. Thanks for your answer.
@@genesismusic5741 I have tried the AT-101 (very similar to the AT-01A) on my trumpet and some other instruments (saxophone, trombone...) and it all works perfectly indeed in Chromatic mode (C). People need to remember that it is limited to 440Hz tuning, but what's very useful is that the tuning only depends on the vibrations of the instrument, so tuning in a loud environment is not a problem with this tuner. I'm very pleased with it!
The tuner display panel will list flat notes as sharps. So for example, your B-flat note will indicate an A-sharp, shown as “A#” on the display panel.
Thanks...now I know what are those number😅😅😅
my tunar doesn’t work pls help!
Can u help me
Ivan, I generally tune my guitar down 1/2 step - ie Eb, Ab, Db, etc.......does this tuner assist in this regard ?.......does it show Eb ?
Hi Johnny, yes it does show. You need to use chromatic mode instead of guitar mode.
Bro jonny rotten can u please tell me there is any disadvantages of tuning a half note down?
@@samueljegan5 not at all - on the contrary, it gives it a heavier and metallic sound - furthermore, the strings are more flexible when you need to bend them at 1.5 - 2 tones
@@johnnyrotten5507 my guitar shop owner told me to tune the guitar so low.. If not..the neck would bend slightly.. So he told me not to tune on standard tuning
@@samueljegan5 i never heard that before, but fair enough
Thank you for this video. Can anyone tell me what mode I should use for tuning a banjo? Chromatic?
Yes using chromatic. As long as you know the name of the strings of your Bonjo, then you can tune it.
Play the thing ,to hear how accurate ?
Otherwise,stop the stupid commercial
Is this the same method I could use for tuning an electric guitar? I’d assume so
Yes, It's the same
I dont know if it’s just me but I just got an electric guitar and instead of saying E for the first fret cord, it says F. Is that normal for an electric guitar?
You need to loosen the string to E
Why i got different result between tuner and tune app on my phone😭😭
for a metal guy that is embarresed to admit i know nothing about guitars I think I can handle doing this... I have several I bought at garage sales to flip. Next is learning out to string them :(
Mine keeps saying different chord to what the guitar string is?
Play one string at a time as they detect by vibration. If other strings play together it will affect the vibration
Which one is for electric?
Electric guitar is also under “G” category
Where we can buy that guitar tuning device?
Ask at music shop
Amazon
happy birthday to me, what a great video
Noupilmmti alouidi a blids enon allouria t
Can this be used for intonation?
my tuner does not detech the sound so i get irratated.3 strings does not goes well since theres a problem with the tuner itself even if its new
Please request seller to change a new one ,sometimes it does have problem with detect the guitar.
can it tune to drop c? how?
Yes , change to chromatic mode and Tune lower on low E strings to C
@@genesismusic5741 thanks for the fast reply
Can this be used for setting the intonation?
Bear in mind that tuning and intonation are two different things. This will set tuning. Intonation is up to you and your instrument.
Does it works on electric guitar
Yes it does work on electric guitar
I'm trying to but I play E string and then A string shows up in the tuner, and then I do G and E shows up , Idk 😢😢😢
Play the string harder as sometimes it cannot be detect as it depend on vibration.
Is that what the letters are for??? Something like this should not be left out of the instructions
Yes ,the letter is to show you which instrument you want to tune.
2:14 OMGGG IM HEARING GACHA MUSIC HBDHFBDSJH ITS BEEN SO LONG
I was just wondering what the V AND U ARE for? So C is for chromatic and you tuned the guitar with it .why don't you use G?
C will show every single note from A to G# ,but G only will show certain note on specific string. Which only have EADGBE. Let’s say your guitar string is too loose ,G might not able to detect it.
V is for violin and U are for Ukulele

Mine won’t tell me the notes
My tuner doesn't work. Too dumb to figure out 😢😂
