What do you do when it says the wrong string?
Hey grabe! I'd advise using the chromatic setting, and then tuning it up or down till it displays the correct string.

I afraid your not supposed to handle a battery with bear hands, use plastic none conductive tweezers. That’s Basic knowledge when handling small batteries.
