  • Upgrade your Floyd Rose special with the Kaish Music stainless steel screw kit, Seems to be a good upgrade for the poor metal the Floyd Rose specials are made out of. Also most likely will resolve your string slippage issues. After testing it out the guitar seems to be night and day difference in tuning stability. I am not receiving these parts for free, i am trying these parts on my own and doing my own testing.

Guys for the people adamant to mix the stainless steel kit with the stock parts made out of zink alloy. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN, nothing will happen to your threads they are made the right thread sizes, even if you over tighten the stock parts you are going to break them, this kit makes it a little more stronger. The fine tuning pegs and blocks are the treasure of this kit.

Kaish, Kaynes and Dopro also sell stainless steel saddles that are very well machined, just a FYI in case you want to get rid of all that zinc in the future.

One of the things about these bridges (all floating bridges) is you need to match the materials. If the bridge uses a steel base plate, the posts need to be steel as well, etc...
The Floyd Rose Special saddles are a zinc alloy. Its softer than steel or hardend steel. So the Kaish string blocks and the lock screw can crack and break your zinc alloy saddle if you over tighten them with too much pressure. Even just the Kaish steel string lock screw can damage the threads of the zinc alloy saddle. The Special base plate is supposed to be steel so the fine tuning Kaish screws should be fine otherwise they could damage the thread of the base plate (if it were a softer zinc alloy). Good Luck🍻

Yeah it’s funny how if you put strong screw you can obviously damage the cheap material the special is made out of from over tightening but if you over tightened the cheap original parts they just strip or break. LOL. But yeah don’t over tighten and you will be okay 👍. Hey this is the best thing I could have done for my cheap Floyd rose special. It is so much more stable and stays in tune like it should, I changed the cheap claw for the springs to a brass thick one oh man so the combo of the stainless parts and the claw made my guitar ring better and it has so much more sustain you can feel the vibration transfer to the body. I will make a video on the claw. Thanks for watching ✌️

Just get a 1000 series or an Original. Screw trying to replace and upgrade parts on a special. More money in the end.

Thanks bro! I never ever thought of that idea of leaving the jagged bit rite after the ball. Using that for extra friction! I will be ordering that kit plus on a Westone WE2500TBU, A previous owner stripped out the heads of the 2 screws that go down threw the knife edge pieces/post screws & they look horrible. I just can't find them.

I would just get new saddles. I have a Jackson with a Jackson licensed Floyd . I wouldn't go through the trouble of spending money on a whole new original floyd.

Yeah I know I might buy the saddles later on if the metal start getting bad but you would be surprised how much better an original Floyd is even the tone block is bigger and brass. But I do have to say this little upgrade was only 16.00, it was well worth it. Specially for the fine tuners made a huge difference . Cheers and thanks for watching. ✌️

@@therocknrollguitarlounge7057 I agree since I have a guitar with an original Floyd Rose and the only difference is the license one feels a lot lighter but that's not to say it can't be as good as the original Floyd with some upgrades.

Worst thing is to put a harder steel into die-cast it's just gonna make it worse if you want quality buy the German Floyd rose

Yeah I know the German one is great. But so far it’s been good. You just don’t want to over tighten anything and you will be fine. No problems so far. Thanks for watching. ✌️
