There is now a steamdeck OLED, which improves on the battery, screen (90h oled and better colors) and it looks a little different.
I am guessing he made this just before that news. Though that was last week! Surprised he didn't edit this video before posting lol
Bigger screen Bro.
I believe it does look different with an OLED screen and not lcd 😆🤣🤣 don't let em suck you in brother if you got a standard deck your literally paying for the OLED(overated imo) and bigger battery mate 💯 3-4fps difference
No dalej wujku zrywu, proszę nie przeklinać na swoich filmach ‼️😠
@@sTuPiDiScOoL_it runs at 90fps oled screen and hdr
Yesss!!! That's exactly the video I was waiting for!! Thank you Mr. Spurtastic!!!
Just got my RG35xx a few days ago. Amazed at the little thing!
Thanks you so much!
I am planning to buy infinix gt 10 pro, thats when I found your wonderful channel😌
The question is... Is it great after 3 months? Do you have a problem with it? And Do you recomend it?
Some good devices here but not best especially on android. The best for Android devices are the Retroid Pocket 3+ in the lower/midrange and Ayn Odin 2 in high end. The super pocket is also hot faeces and there are loads of low end devices running linux builds that are much better from Anbernic, Miyoo etc etc,
I'd also add Odin 2 as the best Android gaming handheld
Got an RBG30 in the end , kids absolutly love it !!!
Save games are great. I didn't even know the R-type arcade had more than one level until many years later when I saw a video with 'unseen' levels 😆
Take the controllers off the Go and it fits easy in a tablet pouch in the backpack. Pack the controllers separate, it really helps make it smaller for travel.
If I’d like to play shooting games and fps (hz)is kinda important, which one would you recommend?? (I would have it connected to a monitor)
Hey Techy spurty, will you be doing a review for the newer, oled steam deck?
Xbox is my primary gaming system so I would like to be able to play GamePass games natively on the device. I think I’ll get a Rog Ally. But maybe I’ll wait till early next year, they might come out with a new PC handheld. I wasn’t aware there are a handful. Just recently found out about the Ayaneo ones today ha. Gonna keep researching products now
That’s the predicament I am in as well. Not sure what to do. Have you found any good ones?
Xbox streaming games work on Logitech gcloud
You can play Xbox games on your cell phone with a controller or a razor kishi
@@88theps3user Went with the Ally Z1E and it’s been a banger. With GamePassUltimate and emulation games, man I’m pretty much set for awhile. I’ve been Remote Playing my Xbox games off my Series X to Ally too. Looking forward for more gaming PC handhelds in the future, they just open up so many options for gaming for me
Watched thanks
What would be the best for vacationing (I have an Xbox series x with game pass)
Hi Chris what Bluetooth controller do you recommend for a redmi note 10 pro
You compare them without comparing the price. Check out the price of the high-end Windows devices. Many people cannot afford these. I'd also like to see the first Gameboy in this mixed bag because honestly it would fit in it
Well then you just answered your own inquiry it’s high end so that usually means a higher price. deck is 800p and switch is 720p so they’re way cheaper hope this helps.
“mega bastard”. I was in bits. Chris, you are class, mate. Absolutely class!!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
You got me on the opening line😂
How about games which use the mouse? It seems you didn't take that into consideration. What are the Steam mouse pads like, or the laser mouse, or other mouse tech???
Better question should which is the best performance/more fps
Greetings from singapore, so which is the best gaming phone or gadget ?
I was one of those freaks with an Atari Lynx and played APB and Altered Beast constantly ! ! ! Dammit, wheres me emulator......
Bought Asus ROG ally as steam deck not officially available here in south east asia
I like this video it reminds me of the gadget show
Oh goodness, that intro! ☠️ HOURS?!
"Remember paper?"
That gave me a laugh. Thanks.
Will you be reviewing the Ayn Odin 2?
Odin and Odin 2 should be in there, plus Anberbic have some great devices
The rp3+ is good as well👍
You da best reviewer
Hands down, Ayaneo is the cutest gaming device.
i've been considering getting a handheld pc for my birthday, however i'm not sure which one to get. i already have a pc but when i go on trips or when i have lazy days where i don't want to sit at my desk, i would like to be able to play. i was considering the steamdeck but i would like to play fortnite and valorant on them and i would need to install windows. does anyone have any recommendations on which one i should get ? nothing crazy big cos i have small hands...
PLEASE DO THIS VIDEO AND ADD THE MSI CLAW TO THE COMPARISON WHEN IT COMES OUT
Hey Mr. Spurt. What game controller would be best to attach to a note 20 ultra, which would also fit S23 Ultra.
Go Razer Kishi v2 or Gamesir G8
Get the kishi 2 pro. And get some caps for joycons
I’m completely at a loss. My wife casually plays Fortnite with the kids and I on a Nintendo switch. While the switch works the graphics, response time and all that isn’t great. What would you suggest for the next legitimate step up for a casually mom gamer? Thanks!
Thanks
Does any of these defeats ally in raw power and performance????
Okay I want one of those yes
5:50 hahahahaha subscribed. Love British humor.
Exciting! And it's just 2023, soon handheld gaming will be back in fashion it is the only thing that actually took the place of porn in my life back in the day . The only downside is that the last time I checked the Switch was rejecting connectivity in my region
Bro the ayn Odin 2 will smash the pocket air out of the water mate 💯💯
I just want to play Mario Kart from N64. Any handheld suggestions?
Okay thanks got it
Which is best for an all rounder? I want something which offers the ability to play any game from any platform ie PlayStation, xbox, pc etc. Many thanks
Windows 😂
@@spreadpeace1119 which device?
@@sirz258 asus rog alley i think is best if you know to use emulators for for other platform you can use your steam service you can do almost all games if you know how to run em on windows and you have pther subscription based gaming from nvidia you can do alot my man unlike steam deck there you can only do steam games
Gonna buy a 2nd switch this year for household to share cos we can share cartridges. Thank God physical media is still available. Thanks Nintendo!
Very strong!
Honestly, stuck between the PS5 & handheld console reason being. I’ve been feeling lazy and just been wanting to play in bed late at night as I usually tend play on my phone. Money wouldnt be all too much of an issue but id love to be able to play COD multiplayer, GTA V (if possible not a necessity), & plenty of fun other tgames off of steam, ea, & emulators possibly other game providers. Was thinking the ROG ALLY. I would consider myself TECH savvy however not a coder, or one bit of that nature, I wouldn’t want to mess with hours and hours to just be able to get sumn going. Any Suggestions?
Steam deck Oled Rog ally is too heavy and the steam deck got lighter with the oled refresh
@@user-pe5vl5kb8kincorrect rog ally is lighter than both steam decks
I was definitely considering A pc handheld & ps5 streaming system. It's too many options. Idk what to pick. I do like the new Lenovo Go but it's pricey
Steam deck is your answer
Get the ally or the go and you’ll be able to return it. Deck is clunky and slow it’s why it couldn’t sell even 6M so they’re trying another iteration

@@oscarpanezo630 I personally wouldn't get that Portable thing. Waste of money but maybe A steam deck OLED would be good. It does everything and I've heard it's great for the ps/Xbox cloud gaming so. It's Def A good choice
@@oscarpanezo630 The ally works great with mw3 expect 80 fps on low with VRR. I would definitely pick it up this Black Friday. And remember pc games are cheap if not free when You pirate them. Ps5 games are expensive. U can always return the ally but you can’t return the deck. And the deck can’t play mw3 as well as the ally since it’s slower. In the future you can build a pc and stream games from your pc to the ally and it will work flawlessly
Okay so what would be the best for emulation? I like to play alot of oldergames that arent really easy to get
Steam deck oled
I was completely pc illiterate and I've had zero issues getting games from other marketplaces and launchers to run on my steam deck..
I personally own the Ayaneo 2s and in my opinion is the best out of all of them especially with the bezel-less design
Seems like the AYANEO KUN is the best model from Ayaneo right now though.
What is better rog ally or steam OLED? I'm trying to figure which one to get
No simple answer to it depends on your need, if u want console like experience and will predominately play indie, emulator games then take steam deck without thinking twice. If you want good performance and want to play anything that can be played from any platform epic games, steam etc go for ally.
There are other nuances and doubts on whether asus will support ally (the support has been good so far) for steam you can rest assured that it will be supported in the long run and last but not the least if you are a mac user or have not used windows ally will be difficult to get into
@@n4m4n81 I been playing the switch for a while, but I'm getting to the point where I wanna play newer and better triple a titles. So the rog is what you recommend?
@@n4m4n81 I was about to get the steam deck today but after reading what you said about the indie and emulator thing.....lol that's pretty much switch stuff lol
@@bahamut3441 even i have switch and i opted for rog ally I understand that valve fir support steamdeck and everyone talks about that but what everyone forgets is the fact that does steamdeck even has the hardware capability to take that support for long. Rog ally specs wise is better and can emulate better xbox 360 and ps3 emulators even work on ally whereas if you use steamdeck you will not be able to play most of the ps3 titles. I did not want to limit myself from a hardware perspective so i went with ally
@@n4m4n81rog is the best emulator and is better for aaa games.
If you're looking for something a little different, the RGB30 is a great little handheld.
"Ever growing steam store pile of shame". Perfectly said. Made me lol
ROG ALLY it's really good
"Remember paper? "😂
Has anyone had any troubles with Wifi 6E with the lenovo legion go?
Steam Deck OLED is set to be relased November 16
I have a budget of £3.56p, what would you recommend ?
Your phone
Getting more money
You have left out the most powerful one of the all. The gdp win max2 64gb 7840u with 7tb of storage.
I’m rather disappointed there doesn’t seem much reasonably affordable, non cheap builds for Android. I honestly don’t really even need controllers there, just the general Play store stuff is fine by me.
Aside, SteamDeck OLED I’m about 50/50 about getting because I’m more a console gamer and as before, I don’t mind some Android stuff all that much, I dabble. However, Mega Man X Dive OffLine I started to play the original release on Android and it the touch play/UI/whatever just felt awkward, and saw the game is also on Steam, so that’s my reasoning for that, hoping to get back to a reasonable experience of playing it. Don’t know if there’s any need/reason to mix and match touch with hardware controls handheld mode, (I only ask this because I’ve honestly never played anything via Steam and so using SteamDeck I have no idea whether or not having touch makes any difference with this game) and my only other option would be pairing an XBox controller when using the dock and hopefully not running into any major hassles…..
The Steam Deck is my favorite system I own.
I sold mine because there is one thing annoying about it which is the loud sound of the fan running
Sincerely trying to figure out ehy the Odin 2 isn't on here
Logitech G cloud is meant for cloud gaming like GeForce Now
Hm... You could have done with the Deck Oled mate 🙂
it seems a bit unfair doing this comparison now, when the lcd steam deck gets a price cut and an oled version which reviewers say its one the best screens is just a couple of days away. emulators, gog, epic and ps play work fine on it as well
Man, this is just refresh. They did not put newer generation of graphics in there. Old shit for same money + upgraded oled. Exactly what Nintendo has done.
@@Lincandoubtyou yes, same cpu/gpu... noone said otherwise. Did you watch the video? The quality of the screen is a major point in handheld comparisons.
As far as how powerful newer mobile chips are.... it depends on what you need from a handheld... if you want something that can run alan wake 2, well... we are not there yet and probably never will be. Streaming from your gaming pc is your best bet for that.
But for indies and platforms? Steam deck is fine, I prefer the longer battery life of a lower tdp cpu
Not really all the issues he stated are still valid for the oled, its not simple plug and play if your games are not steam games and its performance is still super sub par.
I'm honestly looking at the Ayn Odin 2
I hope someone makes a handheld with an un-spillable booze bottle holder attached to it, drunk uncle would definitely be happy
Switch and Razer Edge 5G!
The start though!💀
When he said subscribe the subscribe button turned rainbow!
Lovely vernacular.
Would appreciate some sort of graphic showing the differences between the bunch such as price, dimensions, weight, battery etc.
Your commentary had me dying lol
Legion go is the best handheld 2023
2:19 what game is that??
Bro that intro was crazy😭
Is there a handheld console that can play PS5 games. Without Remote Play.
For the likes of old games like fallout new call of duty etc? What are we buying ?
0:21 As an early 2000s kid the weirdos to me were the ones that bought the POP Station; yeah it looks like a PSP and is significantly cheaper...but it's significantly cheaper because it's crap....as in screen technology that is inferior to an original Gameboy screen crap....on a console released after 2005.
I play my switch and vita and 3DS
I love the Steam deck. It’s the best game device I have ever bought even better than my ps5 😂
Hello guys, hello brother
Please I need a phone that's well under 300£ but majorly with good camera and good gaming capabilities
Would get Poco f5 but it's not in our country, so please I need suggestions.
Lenovo looks nice 👌
If you love indie games and Nintendo name brand games stick with the Switch. I have the Switch Oled and I regret buying it compared to the Rog Ally and Lenovo Go.
Yes ✅
The problem with gaming consoles, is that awesome games only come out at the beginning of the product. then is slowly becomes more of a RPG / platfoming game console. I'm not saying their bad, but AAA games stop eventually.
nothing's better than the almighty Vita...
Performance is lackluster, rather have a 14" laptop tucked in my backpack. I can't fit either handheld in my pants so a backpack it is no matter what.
And Lenovo wth, 1600p on a handheld? A desktop RX 7600 or RTX 4060 struggles with anything over 1080p 😅 (which is why I picked 7800 XT).
Looking forward to next generation handhelds in 2024, with hopefully 1080p120 oled displays and AMD Z2 configurations.
I'm amazed how Nintendo is not invoking copyright laws on people manufacturing portable consoles with detachable controllers ..
The AYN Odin 2 will smash any of the android ones out of the water
hey uncle spurt how did u hit the wall on the ayaneo hope u dont drive that bad on real life
I managed to categorise handheld gamers (myself included) into 4 categories: Retro 2D gamers, PC gamers, Console gamers, and Mobile gamers.
- Retro 2D and Mobile gamers aren't short of options to choose from, and can pretty much use the same hardware as the other handheld gamers (though pretty much anything branded Playstation or Nintendo will probably require a little bit of the old piracy and hacking exploits if you want to play more than what is available on their official digital stores).
- PC gamers will have to compromise a fair bit as their games can potentially be right GPU and RAM hogs which is why PC handheld gaming machines that can handle playing the games without relying on a remote internet connection tend to be absolute bricks to carry and have poor battery life. Personally it's just the battery life that irks me as everything else can be solved with a backpack and a willingness to prioritise gameplay performance over graphical fidelity. Also, big surprise, these machines aren't cheap, but the price seems justified for what you're getting so long as the worst of the inevitable bugs are squashed.
- old school Console gamers (basically anyone who played the older 3D gaming consoles c.1995 - 2006) can either run emulation through either a hacked Steamdeck or one of the Windows based handheld gaming machines, or they can buy one of Nintendo or Sony's older handheld machines pre-owned. Otherwise, if it has to be something new that can play new console games whilst still remaining handheld they're pretty much limited to the Nintendo Switch. If you don't like the idea of piracy then that's basically your only option outside of biting the bullet and playing your favourite non-exclusive console games through a handheld gaming PC.
One x 2?
No odin ?
elder scrolls online dropping for switch is something i wish would happen
So which one runs all the aaa games ?
Rog ally
So what’s the best one for AAA games?
The gdp winmax2 7840u is the leading handheld.
@@ny204193d Damn and I thought it might be the ally or Aokzoe
@@ny204193dYou can't include the word "handheld" in the sentence as win max 2, its essentially a small laptop
@Jontexperia lol truth!! It's nice but definitely not handheld. But let's be honest most of them are past handheld but winmax2 even more so.
You need to hold it in your hands in order to work the trigger controls, hence making the winmax2 a handheld.
GPD Win 4 for me.
