I feel like fatality pushes the initiative for each situation better wether at a disadvantage or in nuetral to a steady degree that doesn't overheat his inputs in order to effectively battle Sean, Shawn doesn't have that ability since he is more explosive and techwise in his style, so he cant parallel process in terms of steady explosive power and callouts when pushing the initiative such as punishments or mixups

First time I’ve seen this other Falcon, Sean, play and I really enjoy his style schmix with the “jab jab” into who knows what, as well as just his unique movement options as well…very cool to see two opposing play styles from a character that most consider to be pretty one dimensional
I messaged Sean years ago when he stopped playing saying he was the reason I started playing Falcon near the end of Smash 4. So glad to see him getting back into it. Sean you play falcon how he should be played, always going for style, a never ending highlight reel, and making the opponents head spin with all the tech constantly going off! Sure Fatality is the Goat at the matchup and brings the fundamentals, But Sean and NickC are at the top in regards to bringing the sauce! Great FT10, props Fatality for continually bringing gold on the content!

You can really see the years of Experience from fatality but with some sauce like always and Sean is super explosive and schmouves like there’s no tomorrow and I love those scnasty mixups but he gets lost in the sauce and it ends up getting him but I’m really hoping in seeing more of him

sean plays like there are millions of move choices running in his brain per second and he randomly chooses one of them then throw it out
99% of the chosen moves work and looks crazy
for fatality being as good as he is at the ditto, it rly shows that sean’s drunken master playstyle is unpredictable enough to win no matter who he faces

Sean's neutral air dodge movement/drift is on another level. Also, the baits offstage into the intentional grab from Up B, to wall tech, to immediate move out of tech to kill is never not amazing to me. Such insane level of awareness and timing.

Sean's biggest barrier to winning in this set is that he doesn't go off-stage to push advantage. When Sean is off stage, Fatality is out there with him, applying pressure. But when Fatality is off stage, Sean is holding the ledge and giving a free recovery route to Fatality.
Oh and also all the SDs from being lost in the sauce.

The score increments for fatality on one of Sean's wins and doesn't increment at all the next - Fatality later doesn't increment for himself but Sean is still missing 2 points at the end. This doesn't change the overall outcome, but credit where credit is due
When Fatality later fixes it, it's correct.. If you pay close attention to the score, and do the math, you'll see. It 8-4 at that point. I had to double check, too.

Serious question, I've been on and off trying to get good at this game for a few years, but I cannot get past an issue where inputs/input delays are seemingly inconsistent. I cannot consistently pull off combos. I'm talking about offline play here too. I can't tell what I'm doing wrong and I've been a very competitive fps player practically my whole life but I cannot figure the 'trick' in this game. Is there something I'm missing here other than the basics of controller and a good panel? Im using powera gc controller and playing on gaming monitor that works great for shooters so shouldn't be an issue there. I have regular gc with adapter too but I find it less consistent with inputs. I see how precise the pros play and feel like besides me just being trash there's something I'm missing lmao Any help would be appreciated 🙏
Take it slow and practice is all i can say. The game has native input delay and online is just that but wayy worse. I play this game with a somewhat broken pro switch controller and im doing fine (dont play it that much nowadays though), not to flex or anything but if i can do it with broken controller, you can too.
@@redfish6549 appreciate the advice. I have gotten better I just never feel in the zone in this game uk. Wish there was a way to play emulated with virtually no input delay . This game would be amazing I think. It's already pretty damn good

I did some slow motion capture of smash to measure the input delay on a TV and on my switch in portable mode, same controller , USB gbc. 130 ms for portable , 105ms on TV. I knew this game felt inconsistent hahaha but I have been practicing my combos alot and am getting much more consistent 👌👌

I’m trying to get that first combo in the training room but I can’t get it to connect, the other falcon goes too high, does this only work because he is DI’ing up and out?
If he DI up at 70% I don’t think it’s true, but if u do it earlier it’s true what ever the DI.

@@colemiller6032 when I started playing falcon, I had a hard time doing his combo because I would input dash too fast and it wouldn’t register because he was still throwing the character. So maybe it’s the same for u and the timing on ur dash is too fast or too slow.
wait which one is fatality? I know its his red color and I originally thought the tag was bunny but it bnuuy, the score also seems to keep going to fatality when -0 wins a game. I also remember in one of his recent videos where he said he used a tag because someone donated to him? after watching a few more games i can tell bnuuy is fatality but this video definitely confused me lol, not casual friendly
Check the scoreboard. Typically the players position on the playercam will match that on the scoreboard - Fatality is on the left in both, Sean is the right.
