Today I am unboxing the gorgeous Baroque Tarot. I flip through all of the cards and lay some out at the end to help you get a feel for how they might read for you.
Very nice walk through! This creator produced the Fantome deck. On the 4 Swords the hands are in prayer pose which is kind of unnatural looking from the side. The arms seem short or something lol In the Devil card, I think that's holly berries and 2 leaves. The berries symbolize Christ's blood and the sharp leaves symbolize the crown of thorns. Just my guess, I could be adjusted on that. When I first saw the flame, I thought about Lucifer bringing light (knowledge) to humanity. But the explanation didn't support...idk about the book. I like understanding art, I need descriptions! I was tempted to get this deck but there are so many angels from the Abrahamic view point of view. Too fluffy for me. I got the Victorian Romantic instead and very happy I did. This deck will remain a temptation!
Thank you! Yes! I don’t have the Fantome because the art just wasn’t my jam. It is lovely though. LOL about the arms. That is a great guess about the Devil. I am going with it until and unless you are proven wrong. ;-) It figures that when I really want a detailed guidebook, it doesn’t have one. 😂 I know what you mean about the angels, but they don’t bother me. I think overall this a great RWS deck for those of us who don’t like RWS. 😂😂 I am going to bring the deck this weekend for an event and will see how people respond to it. I feel like it will be popular, but I could be wrong.
Mot a fan of Pixie's RWS art and usually not into, but I have to say this is pretty and for a client who resonates with RWS energy and wants a reading with RWS. This would fit the bill with my aesthetic. Thanks for showing.

I'd like to on more but they require that you agree to ship internationally and I can't with the prices being raised like pretty much everything else in the States. If there are any decks you have searched for and couldn't find I may have it.....not a lot of Marseille or Lenormand though..a few. Well hope to see ya over on FB if you just want to have a looksee!
so I guess it's gonna be like this - you flip through 'em and then I buy 'em 🤑 You have so many artistic and unique decks. I myself feel quite sated with RWS decks but when I saw this I knew I had to get it. Something alluring about the artistic take here.
Love the blue nails. I anti-hauled the Baroque in favor of Victorian Romantic. I got one of those plastic moon things too. What is it for? As always I love your videos.
Thank you. :-) I wanted to want the Victorian Romantic, but too many of the cards just turned me off. I don’t like the Fool at all, for example. But the deck is so beautiful, I wish I didn’t have issues with some of the cards. LOL I think the moon thing is just meant to be a decoration. They have similar pieces listed on their site as altar decor. I feel like they are normally larger though, but I am not sure.
