    Buddy riding late night in Maine is awesome.I’m from New Hampshire,Maine trails are groomed the best in the North East,oh yeah and unlike New Hampshire,no speed limits on Maine trails😊

      It's not that I don't like to ride at night, it's that I have a hard time seeing in the dark on the sled without my glasses. One of the days we ended up riding at night and I happened to be wearing my glasses and it wasn't too bad at all.
      I do like the no speed limit in Maine for the long wide trails!
      Thanks for watching.

      Right on! I am from New York State and the trails in Maine are so much better. It was definitely the best trail riding I've ever done. Thanks for letting people ride on your property.

      We had a Canadian with us who thought these were some of the best trails he's ridden. I believe Quebec has amazing trails but I'm not sure i will ever ride there.
      I wish Zuke was there too. He will be if we go next session.

    Great video. As a fellow New Yorker, it’s good to see you get out of our state to ride. Quebec, Maine, Vermont, they all do it better. Problem with ny is that all nyers go to the same spot to ride. More sleds per mile of trail equals junk. Plus the weather is up and down with temps which kills the conditions. Looking forward to the next one.

    • @Paisteboy
      @Paisteboy  Před rokem

      Thanks! I agree with everything you said. Spot on. Unfortunately it's hard to get away all the time and it's expensive too. I'm just glad I was able to make this trip!

    Just got back from Fort Kent again Thursday. These trails are excellent, but you should try crossing the Clair bridge in Fort Kent into NB Canada and ride up to the Moose Vally, unbelievable

    • @Paisteboy
      @Paisteboy  Před rokem +2

      Nice! Maybe next time. We didn't have Canadian permits. I believe we were at that boarder crossing thought on day 2 or 3. If I'm thinking correctly its at the bottom of a long stretch. We saw some guys cross with Maine Registrations.

      @@Paisteboy Ya one is in town across from the Northern Door inn on Main st. The other is down in Estcourt Station. Though the border trail out by Loring Air Force Base zig zags you in and out of Canada. Great videos !

    • @Paisteboy

      Thanks Adam.
      No trail permit required but you do have to register your sleds. 120 bucks for the whole season for out of state people and 100 bucks for a 10 day Reg for out of staters.

      Good to know thanks, me and some family are looking to make a trip next season, your vids are making a good choice to go. We’re you guys able to get out to forge/the hill this past weekend with the late season snow tails we’re pretty decent considering.

      I went to Tug Hill on Saturday the 11th. I haven't been out since. I haven't been to Old Forge since early February. Those videos will come after I finish the 5 days of riding in Maine.
