Hello Jim. Just wanted to thank you for your excellent video. I never heard of oil catch can. I am very new into this. Do you have to have detail video of how you install this oil catch can please 😀
I installed mine before I started my CZcams channel but I explained how to install it on another video. It's very simple to install if you have the intake manifold off or loose to change the PCV valve or thermostat housing. Around the 23:00 minute mark of this video I'm replacing the PCV valve and I discuss the oil catch can. The hose simply runs from the PCV valve to the oil catch can and then from the nail catch can to the intake manifold. It is placed "inline" of the "U" shaped hose that normally runs from the PCV valve to the intake manifold. czcams.com/video/cfti8lkiqgY/video.htmlsi=F-GEB6X16QNJKIus
Hey there Jim! Just checking in again! Just completed an oil change on my 2018...the filter was hilariously small! Filled her up with four litres of platinum ultra, 5000mile oil changes or six months! Glad to see you still have the Prius! Trump won!
Yep, my wife loves her Prius. I asked her if she wanted something newer and she said she was fine for now. I'm planning to swap out the EGR cooler, EGR valve, and intake manifold again for parts that I cleaned. I want to keep it clean and running great.
@@jimsgaragetoys yes the EGR is key in keeping her running efficiently and smooth, thanks for the great videos you shoot, thankyou for the replies and such a great channel!
Thanks for the video
You are most welcome. I enjoy making videos and helping owners work on their own cars. I appreciate the support for my channel. Thanks.

@@jimsgaragetoys I wish you were in California. I would've just taken mine 2006 & 2013 Prius to you 😅
@@manarahmad7342 I do feel like I've gotten to know the car very well. 😍
