    The lower intake manifold/turkey pan gaskets being bad is also a common reason for the p0171 and p0174 lean codes.

    I have a friend thats able to change that hose for 200.00 And he doesn't take it apart. He does disassemble everything on the driver side to get to it from the top.

    Just use a 3/8 npt for the turkey pan, lots of youtube videos on how to do it.

    • @phatkidgarage5941
      @phatkidgarage5941  Před 3 lety

      Removing the fitting from the turkey pan is pretty difficult without removing the lower intake.

    Just curious why you didn't want to delete the turkey pan fitting all together?

    Is the hose next to the iac valve (the 90^ turn that leads under the front pulley), is that the iac hose?

    Hey everyone I really need help. So I have an 02 lightning and just put on new lower intake manifold/turkey pan gaskets. However, I don't know the torque specs for the bolts that hold them down. Can anyone please help?

    • @phatkidgarage5941

      A lot of it depends on what your future plans are for the truck and its current condition and mileage.

    Is this the same for the 2002 Ford F150 Harley Davidson 5.4 Supercharged? I am having the same problem

  • @mattb12341

    Also can the supercharger be removed completely with out taking the top part off?

    • @phatkidgarage5941
      @phatkidgarage5941  Před 3 lety

      The supercharger can be removed without removing the upper plenum.

  • @mattb12341
    @mattb12341 Před 3 lety +1

    I got the same codes and I pretty sure it’s the pcv hose behind the supercharger

    • @phatkidgarage5941
      @phatkidgarage5941  Před 3 lety

      It's a very common issue with these trucks. After repair there was no funky idle or surging.
