Hi Zach, awesome video!
Came over from your Facebook post to check out your vlog. You mentioned on the post that these shots were taken with a 35mm lens. I was just wondering if you have any tips or tricks when using such a wide lens with car photography?
I have the Sigma 35mm Art f1.4 and have used it with my car photography work and find that most of the time I use another lens or shoot in crop as I dislike the extended and bulbous look the wide angle gives to the car. So I just wondering what you do to battle this, if it’s refining angles or editing? Cheers dude!
Hey! Thanks for coming over and watching the vlog! I’d say in my experience I haven’t had much distortion issues with shooting 35mm. I do always lens profile correct in post, and that does take some slight bowing out of the photo. I’ve shot exclusively on the 35mm for the last few years and have loved the results, so it might be just down to the angles you shoot with. But I will say, the 85mm focal length is my all time favorite to use. I wish I still had an 85mm to use.
Nice!!!!
