Thank you for all your videos, Ben! I have purchased a few programs but haven’t been able to dig into them too much given a recent shoulder issue. But I sure do appreciate all the information you provide! It’s hard to say which part of the video was most helpful since it all makes sense and seems to build on each other. Thanks again!
Such great advice, thank you!! So many takeaways, but I am going to focus on combination of having a plan & domino effect. Will start with getting better at strict pull ups. I am at the point where I can only do one at a time. And can perhaps do 3 kipping pullups. So the domino effect really talked to me.
Am I the only one who could barely hear the audio portion of this great video? I turn the volume up everywhere it can be turned up and still have trouble hearing it.
Great video, many thanks! I'm having problems on bringing my toes to the bar in my toes-to-bar. Maybe due to my lower back issues. My hamstrings are very flexible. It's very easy for me to bring my lower arms on the floor with my legs extended in a standing position. Can you give tips in a new video for the toes-to-bar?
It’s obvious, but good to hear out loud: if I want to be good at gymnastics a huge step would be losing the 15-20lbs extra weight I’m carrying around my midsection. Focus on nutrition.
Your point around being consistent and not relying on your gyms programming. I'm a classic semi new person that relies on the programming but as you highlight, unless you get there on that day. You may not doing any pullups for several weeks.
I'm 55 yrs old... been doing CrossFit for 4 yrs. I have a virtual trainer.ive hit a platue with my weight. How can I loose another 12 pds, without starving myself.should I increase my workouts.i workout 6 days a week already.
I try to be consistent with my Kipling pull ups and toes to bar, but my hands keep ripping and it becomes very painful to hold anything including weights so I’m forced to take breaks. How can I work around this?
I would try using grips if you don't already, and make sure you're not overdoing the kipping practice to the point that your hands rip. Check out these grips: element26.co/products/isoprene-polymer-hand-grips (use my code WODprep10 for a dicount)
@@WODprep these are the grips i’m using. They’re the best I’ve ever tried! Waited months to get them :) I also tried chalk with them, and taping my hands under them. Still facing this problem. I can’t do more than 30 kipping pull ups in one class. Yesterday we had a for time workout of 21-18 -15-12 and I couldn’t get past 21 :’(

Bro, I love ur videos, but on this one I have phone all the way up n can barely hear you
Would love a video on how to build reps in a skill. For example, I can do ten toes to bar unbroken so how to go about increasing to say twenty.

Hire a nutrition coach! Seriously, this is the missing piece 99 times out of 100!
