The version of this with Helen Reddy way better, believe it or not. Sound quality a million times better, as are Barry’s vocals. Impressive. That said, I think their popularity followed their hair. If Barry kept this mane, they’d still be huge, even if it’s gray. Case in point, the Beatles never lost their hair, and are still in the top 25 in record sales currently. Amazing.
