I was born in 1971 and I remember when I was 6 my mom twirling me around singing the chorus am I the only one who tears up and smiles at the same time 😢
I remember seeing this when it originally aired. I was laughing so hard I woke my wife up. she started laughing right along when she realized what she was seeing which Honestly has been a really good source of happiness for me ever since I lost my wife so many years ago i was married for 42years I was 24 and she was 20. She got cancer in 2020 I was totally lost without her. She took a major hit the treatment was horrible for her. I could do nothing to change any thing so I felt helpless I miss her everyday. Mothers are the glue that holds everyone together.. it broke me to pieces so seeing comments like this makes me smile.
Are there other people out there who, like me, when they hear 70s classics like this tear up inside & LONG for those days again, or is it just me being a sentimental 54 year old silly arse?
Liam you're like me, I prefer the Disco music of the 1970's, artists like Evonne Eliman, I'm 61, widower that was married 31 years to my wife who was from the Philippines.
No Liam. You are so not alone. Life seemed so much better back then. This is one of my all time favourite tracks though I often pop the headphones on and play the 50's, 60's and 70's stuff on here. I'm 57 now and would gladly go back to those days

So true! One of the top 4 songs from a soundtrack album that was playing non-stop on the radio and at parties for about 2 years.
in 2023, disco is still relevant And Yvonne, like Diana Ross, Donna Summer and all these singers who made us dream, are still present in our heads
BeeGees wrote this classic track for Yvonne and she made it a hit. What a voice ❤️ RIP Maurice, Robin, Andy
Really? Love the BeeGees
So true jagit Singh well what else can I say much love from hindustan 🕉
BeeGees also wrote the song "islands in the stream" that dolly parton and Kenny Rogers did as a duet.
This was the classic Travolta danced to in "" Saturday night fever ""😁🏌🎶🎶
Still Yvonne performed it why praise the bee gees lmao
She was beautiful and her voice was just insane beautiful.
Couldn’t agree more. Stunning woman and voice.

dancing to this at the BBC disco in Chicago, great memories
Out of the entire age of disco, this is the one that always got me. Yvonne's voice is incredible.
written by the bee gees the kings of the disco era.
Same…rest of ‘disco’ seemed so corny… w/ few exceptions like Donna Summers
Don't really consider this as Disco, just a truly great, catchy Pop song.

Donna Summers had a terrific voice too.
