As much success scorpians had started for american audiances and in 1980 (scorpians during 70s were underground in north america) wasnt until love drive, animal magnetisim when scorpians recieved radio play. (Very little) Scorpians caught on quickly. At that time hard rock metal was forced underground. 1978,79 punk, new wave bands dominated the scene. Scorpians were heavy, beautiful melodies. I almost think of scorpians is german version of americas boston. (Although both groups sound nothing alike) .
