Ken! I am currently in the process now of looking to replace my toilet handle that broke 2 days ago! :( I have it rigged now and showed my daughter how to flush until I replace it and then I just saw this video and it's like you knew that was my next project! thank you for this demo and product recommendation, I am definitely buying this from Home Depot today, wish me luck!
I installed this handle months ago, but the toilet occasionally has to run a few seconds to fill the tank back up. I just watched you and went and turned the handle down more and I think I fixed it. I have been waiting for a plumber for several weeks to come replace all the guts. Thank you for this video.
The 4266 printed on the inside of the toilet means you have a "Champion" model American Standard toilet (same as mine). You are right. It is a high end toilet. Toilet never clogs. We replaced all 3 of ours with these some years ago.
Yea....dont ever buy the cheaper options. Usually spending more results in spending less over time, lol. Looks like this is an example of this. I might need to get this handle soon depending how things go.
Great instructions for setting up this new handle we just bought the same item for our American Standard toilet and I'm about to put it in. Gave your channel a like and subscribed!
My handle broke off Friday AM. Lowe's is my closest store for such things. I decided on a Korky before I watched your video. I finally made the 24-mile drive up there to pick it up. I also bought another wrench. I theoretically have company here to help me with cleaning...like a man who sleeps on my couch. Last night, he didn't want to start the job because it would be lighter in my bathroom in the morning. Well, he finally started it, anyway. He came and said that I could flush it, but it needed another step. I've shown him several videos. I got tired of flushing it manually quickly. I think that he needs to do what you said below. Uninstall and start over. The handle isn't tight at all. I'm thinking that maybe I should try to fix it myself (female retired hospital pharmacist). Otherwise, do you take phone calls from men who mess up a lot of things? I can PayPal you some money. 😃
Thank you so much for all of the details. A great plumbing lesson!

Your video saved me a lot of grief and aggravation we have one of those toilets and I could not find a handle flusher that worked thanks

I am not sure if a phone call can help. I say you can do it if you can turn a wrench. If not, call a plumber in.
Thanks man. I couldn't figure out how to position the arm to get a good flush
Fantastic! TY
I installed the handle but for some reason it only works if you lift up instead of down.
there must be an adjustment you are overlooking. I would uninstall and reinstall.
@@KenTraining OK thanks for getting back to me
This didn't need to be a 17 minute tutorial.
Sorry, I am making shorter videos now.
